Hi, You may have seen me post many newbie questions about here's another one,

I've ventured into starting a new business, its almost critical I list locally "TOP" which for some may seem a easy task.

Now as a starting business, I do not have a grant and budgets need to be kept to a minimal so investing in paying a professional seo company isnt an option.

I've purchased Scrapebox (Thanks BHW for the discount page) and i've purchased a 10 dedicated IP's. I've studied the software and am confident that Im able to use it.

Now I have this business website, its new.. 3 weeks. Now I want to rank it, and don't want to be stuffed by google! as that would destory my business.

Do I need to be careful with Scrape box, how many links is too much. Is blog comments bad in the long run?

I've read about starting web 2.0 pages and just having millions of blog comments linking to that site then direct to my business therefor no direct blog comments, this looks even more time taken to do.

The competeion of the local community is there, but isnt at the same time, most have like 200-300 backlinks and ranging from 0-6 PR some seem to be using the same tactics, and some don't. I don't mind blasting my site weekly on going but I fear long term durability. I don't want to end up nevre being listed.

Please advise what you guys think the best course of action is, I can do the link web 2.0 pages and other sites like my other domains setting up misc blogs but as mentioned time is money.

Shall I just continue blasting my site? I've only done like 200 in the past week. My site isnt full index'd by google, should I stop!!! lol as you can see i;'ve had alittle to much red bull

Anyway Advice gogogo :P

also to add, at the moment since i'm at around 200 backlinks which ain't yet showing up anywhere... im now just backlinking to PR's above 4.. Good Idea? .,

running debate here, though while most say 'don't blast your money site', some have argued that they blast their with no ill effects, though probably not right away. i generally blast both, though the money site not as heavily, and when i do, i use link shorteners rather than the proper url.

3 week old domain with SB links... I'd go very, very slow. I'd be more apt to start with some social bookmarks. Maybe some web 2.0 to your money site and blast them a bit. You'll get a wide range of advice since people have different experiences, but your site is very new to be very aggressive with SB at this point.
