New blogger looking forward to learn more

Hi all,
I established my blog 3 months ago. It's basically a defense/military news website.
I have posted around 250 articles with views as such:
Month 1: 2,000
Month 2: 12,300
Month 3: 35,600

I am using adsoptimal.com for ad placements. They gave me the Gold package with instant $15 payment. I have started using them in early September, and now I have some $45 in the account.

I also have a Facebook page with 3,060 likes, 145 followers on twitter, and 259 followers on Youtube.

This is my first wordpress blog, I built it all alone from A to Z, and I'm looking forward to hear any suggestions as to how I can increase my income going through this route.

Do you consider this a good income model?

Seems good man and you can try to get good backlinks.
Concentrate on your content and meta tags.
Try to get links from all social sites.

How much are you posting a day? Apply for google/bing news and you could boost your traffic a lot. But there are strict requirements.

I applied to google and bing webmaster a month and posted a sitemap.
Recently, I also applied to google news, but not to Bing. I'll check that out now.
I am posting from 1 to 5 articles daily.
