New Blog Posts Losing to Garbage!

In the past, my blog posts would naturally rank very well almost immediately with just a little kick in the ass from AMR. This worked for a long time.

Now, I guess you could say since the updates, my new posts, no matter what strategy I use can't beat anyone.

My authority blog site's new product reviews are consistently losing in the SERPS to press releases, videos, forums and sloppy EMD's.

Is anyone seeing something similar? Has anyone come up with a solution for ranking new posts quickly on an authority blog?

Indeed. I have tried other strategies as well for my new posts.

Using wikis, 2.0s, articles. Separated and combinations of both also with no success and all the people I used to compete with are also getting crushed by these press releases, videos, forums and EMD's.

Are you following any backlinking strategy? After penguin update it is must to follow it to get good rankings.Are you following any automated ways?

That's exactly your problem.

AMR had a shit-ton of domains deindexed. Which means that your domain lost a lot of PR and linkjuice from all of your backlinks being "devalued". Now it's like you starting over again in terms of PageRank and linkjuice.

You need high-quality backlinks that will STICK and pass along that value. Guest blogging is a great way to start that, although isn't all that scalable.

The thing is, my site is ranking at the top for my main keywords as it is still an authority site holding a PR3.

It is only my new blog posts that seem to have no power. This may be a lost cause, I have done a lot of searches on new products in multiple niches and blogs are nowhere to be found.

I have tried multiple strategies to attack these new product launches, but there doesn't seem to be a quick fix so far.

I have used Ultimate Demon, Magic Submitter, AMR all in different capacities but nothing really carries.

Don't use automated solutions. Manual.
