When are the mods going to step up and put an end to this shit??? First we hear, "no more ebooks will be sold at BHW". Now I'm seeing, "Well, maybe we'll limit them to 50 bucks or less". We've got one mod or admin saying no and in the same thread we have another one saying, "send it to me and I"ll review".
And the end result usually winds up with a certain pathetic member flaming the original poster and then arguing with or demeaning all the other members who are interested. It really lowers the integrity of the forum.
Why not do one of two things:
Either take a STAND and not allow any of this ebook sales crap by DELETING the post and giving the author one warning before banning or more to my personal opinion, allow ebooks to be sold but put an end to the constant sniping by laying down rules such as:
Copies must be limited to X number (caveat below)
The "author" (I use that loosely) must only be allowed to post his offer once and then CLOSE THE THREAD after his initial post. All subsequent requests to purchase can only be made via PM and no "reviews" or follow ups. It is buyer beware. You (the buyer) are on your own. As for the mods attempting to insure that only the agreed upon copies be sold, get real. You have no control over this so once again, buyer beware.
This is pretty f-ing simple to get a handle on unless of course there's no real desire to do so.

I was just wanting to verify it wasnt bullshit, as i dont wanna see a million and one threads about i got 1million hits in 2minutes but im not telling anyone how!
As for the selling ebooks and such as that its not set in stone, we are discussing and listening to everyones ideas on whats suitable for the users.
So not to get ripped off, we dont want users moaning at us if they waste money, we have reviewed in the past and many people have moaned that products suck, thats personal preference.

I agree, i usually let the users get bitched at by the users first, as its better that way, i keep a professional opinion, unless drunk or somewhat tired.
