Hey guys, how long does google take to detect a new backlink on a website?

One thing though, quality backlinks will always show the fastest result. So if you really want to rank your site and see the backlinks, focus on building quality links instead of spam. And it also depends on popularity of your website.
Google always check the changes and make updates after 24 hours. So if you make changes especially having the backlinks, you will have to take sometime before you are able to notice the ranking improvements of your websites. Be also sure that each and everyday especially when you have made the changes, you are supposed to update the site map so as to help the google crawler have an easy time going through the pages.

It depends on the back links you get which should have a high quality without any spammy links,also need to have a fine articles with low competition.
The articles with low competition are been boosted and ranked higher in google,where a high competitive are outranked and disappeared.
Choose the back links that has the exact match on your site.
And iam sure if you done with this then it takes few weeks in google.

Certainly, it depends on the popularity of website, content quality and the quality backlinks which you built.
