Thanks - I paid my money so I feel like if someone asks about it - I can provide my 1 opinion ... in the end I bought something else and found that worked alot better for me .. cheers.

I've been sold quite a few crap software in my time. I wouldn't say AMR is one of them. In fact I think AMR is one of the best software ever sold in terms of doing the job that it was mearnt to do. AMR is only as bad as your list. If you are good at scraping, you will get excellent results with AMR. By the way, I am not affiliated with the product in any way...just giving credit where credit is due.
 
Just wanted to say that AMR was the bomb before the article sites got de-indexed by google, its the sole reason that I was able to give up my full-time job and do IM full time so I am very excited by the new modules being added. I love how the contextual links work and really helps to make your articles look more natural which is something that Senuke really lacks with, plus if AMR runs anywhere near as fast as it used to run I will be a happy camper :)

Just wanted to check with Sniper is there any plan to add bookmarks also?
 
I actually have an entire bookmarking app finished (mostly) I just need to do the website content.
 
Sounds promising, especially the Web 2.0 integration. Would love to hear some feed back on success rates for these before I part with more funds.

im intrigued and slightly jazzed by the w2 part. will it work like adding another amr directories? ie just add lists and it picks up the templates it can post to? This soudns nice if so if its still a one time fee vs other soft like ud which have a monthly fee plus i prefer the straight forward no nonsense design of amr- similar to xrumer.

the crucial question will be how accurate the templates are. i use zenno for w2 but its really time consuming, altho nothing beats it for accuracy. interested in amrs w2 capabilities as mayb it could knock off some of the list then use zenno to make them manually for the ones amr couldnt hit.

ye thats got me jazzed up. gonna be looking more into this. maybe you could illucidate those points vince tho i understand if you want to leave it for the user to find out.
 
I gave up on AMR some time ago and if it's coming back to life I will definitely give it a try!

Well it was applied to the whole list, and now it isn't, that's my problem. You are right i can remove them, but then when i scrape new directories i will waste time (and money with captcha) and have to remove then again and again, the blacklist solved that perfectly.
 
I re-added the blacklist function, but also, you don't have to clear your sites-seen history. If you don't clear that, you won't be reimporting anyways, and that's a function that's been around forever.
 
hmm where abouts is this sites seen thing? cos thats an issue id wondered about myself scraping big lists and wondering how id prevent wasting tons of time with repeats. is it automatic? i was thinking of just keeping the deleted from imported in a blacklist text file and running a compare in sb or somesuch manually so i can keep amr clean whilst also checking for dupes.
 
It's in the import site list function, and also asks you every time you do an import.

The web20/wiki stuff works exactly like all the AD's. The bonus with these new platforms is that they are all instant approval, and AMR can get the livelink on submit. You can add sites the exact same way as you normally would.

It amuses me how some people blame software/tools for their failure to build links. AMR is a submitter and does what is supposed to do. If you can't find good lists to feed it with, then it will suck for you.
 
hmm unfortuantely those platforms (elgg/jcow etc) are pretty much gonna be pr0 junk so a bit of an anticlimax for me on that front. Ill stick with making bots for the bigboys that senuke/ud etc hits.
 
Sometimes I wonder why Vince makes an effort to respond to public trolls bc he does spend time reading through my bug report and helps me solve issues. AMR is the only tool I use for link building and even though I don't make a lot of money via SEO yet I think it's working...

You need to take the good with the bad, and in the end, keep your head up. But constructive (and not so constructive) never hurts either.

You'd be surprise how reliant users are on the vendor to maintain a site list and make their judgements on that factor alone. Thankfully, I have given them the tools to maintain their own site list.
