New Amazon Affiliate Journey: Need to get going

Maybe this is a new thing, maybe it isn't, but being able to have multiple gmail tabs open in the same browser really makes me happy.

Got a call for a new job, starting tonight. Fuck yea. Still going to another interview, I put in the effort to get it.

4 web 2.0's was definitely ambitious, have two done though.

Looking into parasites, need to start building some link campaigns. Have scrapebox and gsa just sitting dormant.

Also, are each of these web 2.0's supposed to be built on different IP addresses?

Bought a domain, it's an EMD. Excited for it.

Going to start tomorrow.

I am on the edge of burning out. Beyond happy that I'm "done" picking my niche. Now I'm going to build my statue.

Can you share to us briefly how you went about doing keyword research? Thanks and best wishes on your journey!

Honestly, this journey has been incredibly hard to work on lately.

It's going on 3 months since I've been laid, busy with work & school, trying to gather something of a social life, guitar is still a priority along with going to the gym and staying in shape. Met a girl, she's pretty badass and such a tease. Trying to not ignore her with everything going on.

I do feel like quitting. I'm tired. There's so much I'm trying to do.

The niche I picked is difficult. It seems an easy niche, and it is. But it's something you really need to do instead of just reading others to get a true feel for. I'm writing reviews about products in the dark essentially.

Also, amazon is out of products. Very limited. I'm reaching for products to promote and it goes against the original intention of the site, therefore making it difficult to rank. However, I am starting to see organic search which is motivating. Something I need.

But I'm not quitting. There's nobody there holding my hand. In the same way that I'm the only reason I'm going to get laid there isn't any body who is going to put in the work for me.
To those of you who added me on skype, it really meant alot. Which it shouldn't, but I'm not going to stop it from doing so.

I feel like I used to know much more. I mean mentality wise. The world is a playground, the only path is my own, how to get to Carnegie hall type-knowledge. It's like I've forgotten it over time. I planted seeds to forget to water them. I'm getting caught up in all the little things I normally would know to brush off.

But on the same hand, there's much more I'm awakening to. For better or worse. Actually paying bills, seeing money as something that's real, seeing people differently. Myself, differently. I used to breathe the idea that I was going to be rich, I knew it was only an idea but I really believed. Now, It's like I'm grasping it for it. Yet, there are things that bothered me before and no longer do. I lost any sense of urgency. I feel like things will just come to me. And sometimes, they do. I've seen the gun pointed to the back of my head, but it's out of bullets.

I don't want more things to regret. Quitting. I quit once before and I sometimes wonder where I would be now if I hadn't. I made it once, I can do it again.

I'm interested in CPA. Lead generations. It seems I can get clicks but no sales, right? So, if I can get people to click some stupid amazon link, I feel I can easily pull clicks to anything else. I'm not talking adsense. I feel if I fell into a more competitive niche, I could really work it. Right now, talk walker is sending me something like ~25 updates a day. That's it.

I'm thinking to SEO jack the relationship niche as I have more life experience than the average person and I can hit emotions easier, I can bull shit it, and it's interesting ( fun ).
I'd have to learn CPA and get accepted into some networks.

Of course, I'll still keep my two sites up. There's potential, I just gotta keep working.

I need to start building links.

It's Tuesday.
Goals by Thurs:
- about page for site B
- contact page for site B
- D20 2.0
- psych HW

--- take note of all blog 2.0s, re-learn GSA and set up campaign.

It is good to see that you are motivated to keep working even though you are seeing difficulty. It's also great to see you realizing your limits and trying to set goals that are realistic and achievable yet still worth it. Don't give up and you will achieve your goals and even exceed them and you too will become rich! If you ever need help, feel free to pm me!

Finished everything I needed to do.

- built about & contact page
- started on 2.0 for one of site B pages.
- weebly doesn't allow scheduled publishing so I'll have to keep coming back to it. I don't want to set everything on one day.
- won a meme battle
- took a nap

I want to make money damnit.

New Goals for Thurs:

-Psych HW
- get laid ( lol)
- make money ( ha. )

- Set up linking campaign

Probably have to buy proxies.
Captcha Service.
I remember having to spin an article or two, would have to acquire a spinner software.

Hi Keyboarding,

I'm still confused about web2.0 link building. Do you need to submit each web 2.0 with each Google webmaster tool? Do you need different IP for each Web 2.0? Do you have any tips on things like that to keep your web 2.0 linkbuilding safe?
Thank you

I'm hardly somebody to ask advice from.

How I did it.... mainly common sense in the end. As I'm writing the post, I'm thinking of how I would search for a post. Then I add the keywords in. It's a really shitty way to be doing it.

I had originally started out with using google adword planner to suggest, but unless it was like "oreo cookie" or "how to make oreo cookie" , I wasn't getting any searches reported..

I had found a long tail keyword generator on BHW which essentially did the same thing. So find a keyword tool or just use how you would search for it/google's suggestions.

Gather some Keywords, run them through google's adword planner and if you're lucky they'll pull search volume. If not, like in my situation, again just use how you would search for it. Think of the different ways. As you're writing it will become more obvious. I think it was PHPbuilt that said he added keywords in last. Something to consider and that would be easier to keep track of.

I hardly kept track of the individual keywords on paper that I was using as each post would be different enough that the titles would tell me.

Something I need to work on. Also, link tracking.

There was a massive super web 2.0 thread that has all the answers. I am guilty of it myself as you'll see if you read it. All these Q's and more are answered and better than I could.

Here's the link.
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-guide-art-super-web-2-0-creation-2014-a.html

As far as link building goes, that's something I would have been starting to look into earlier. I fell into a shitty head space and became distracted. I ended up coddling my guitar and I played a game of league. I felt like shit for letting myself play. But I kept joining a game and leaving, finally said fuck it since I wasn't doing anything better. gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm reading now stay away from social bookmarks, don't be spammy, that kind of thing but I have no idea. I'm new to web 2.0's and right now I feel like I'm doing everything wrong so...

Ask me again in a few months.

good night everybody. Thanks for the questions and replies.

i dont mind if u add me on skype, I check it, sometimes.

Hope it helps.

found two resources for everything I need for scrapebox GSA & tiered link building.

Going to sleep.

Tomorrow's goals: Which is thurs already ... f
- decide where to buy proxies, probably 5
- start gathering links to post to
- gather links to ask for guest posts

I'll Start there.
I thought about buying links instead, but I can't afford $80+ on a package. So doing it myself. Spinner is in the near future.

Okay Update for keyword research since I've just done it and I want something that at the very least I can pretend I'll look back to.
If anyone can offer some advice aswell that'd be helpful. The process is as follows:

Building new 2.0

Niche->Sub-Niche->Micro

Found what I want to focus the new 2.0 around.

1) Long tail generator for key words
gathers list of keywords that will act as seeds later on. Uses long tails, if they don't pull anything, do quick google search, see what shows up in suggestions, run those through long tail generator, should see results

2) Transfer "seed" list to scrapebox for "garden" list ( following the semantics of "seed" )
Remove dupes, run through scrapebox's keyword scraper
Remove dupes again

Now with a mass of potential keywords

3) Run through google's adword planner
use their "(ad) keyword groupings" to lay out posts for the site.

It's already organized for you.

No more skimming through excel sheets manually organizing keywords. Download or keep track of the keywords that are relevant and that you want to use, directly from the keyword planner.

I'd suggest doing it all at once. Collecting each .txt file.

Beyond that is beyond keyword research.

------
I didn't set any filters when using adwords.
Only 10 or so pulled an ad group, with several keywords in the ad group.

Goals:

web 2.0 complete by sunday night. Busy fri and sat
That will be a weak 4 web 2.0's, good enough to start first link building campaign
- have the preparation for link campaign complete for sunday.
-- titles, comments in spun form, can't remember what else.

After doing this starting to become streamlined, less reading/stopping more just doing as I know what to do.

Amazon Clicks are only at 14 for the month lol. Fuck it's been 20 days. It's almost the end already.
Have been focused more on learning and setting up web 2.0's instead of random seo jacking.
Nice to see I've only been working on this journey, this site for a month. Actually not too dissapointed with how far I've come.

need to make better use of time. Getting buried with the little upkeep I need for these sites.

Also, new sites won't be as rough from now on, so that will help.

With the practice of blog 2.0's, seeing what competitors are doing and writing so many articles, get a feel for how things are actually supposed to be done.

- need to look more into what competitors are doing.
- keep moving forward
- write how I set up campaign, analyze, see if anything can be tweaked when I eventually do.
-- next update.

I love my spammy scrapebox comments that post to my site, they're like Moz integrating right into the dashboard.

I was on the 11th spot for a kw when the comment was posted, so I checked, and for the search term I'm 4th. It's Like this for a few variations.

Quick update,

For quite a few of my KW's I'm within first 3 pages on google,

have a few that are the fourth or fifth result on the first page.

Still need to start link campaign lol.

Caught up with school work for the most part
so I'll be able to get that done by sunday.

Goal:
Two random news articles for a Site B 2.0, then
Add money link to money article and also add pictures to both reviews on Site B & 2.0

Then.

Follow Jacob King with Woodward tiered linking guide
Have campaign running.

For Sunday.

If I find a way to not get this done I'll hand over my websites to whoever wants them.

You remind me a lot of myself. What kind of guitar do you play?

Stick with your sites.

Spinning is taking forever.

have two out of three articles spun... almost wondering if the last is even worthwhile. -----------
Going to spin the titles, grab images and videos and start with the two.

I've spent over four hours on each so far.
---------------------------------------------

Finished spinning all three articles. Was overspinning the first two.

goals for monday:
spin titles
spin images
spin videos
re-check urls ( going to re- gather these overnight, been a week or so)

sleep.

key reason being why it's important to pick a niche with enough traffic to make the effort worthwhile.

after this project I"m going to set the hoops on fire and just watch them burn. Focus mainly on forum advertising, seo jacking and interlinking.soon enough.

Don't use buycheapproxies.org
Switched proxies to buyproxies.org,

now have 20 proxies....... ($10)

would have had my campaign started up but it's cool.
Will start it tomorrow.

Going to order 1k decaptcher's. ( $10 )
Going to let TBS turn into full mode ( $37) .. will be doing this again with the first site immediately after I set up some authentic web 2.0's, which is just as horrible of a niche.

Unsure of how to set my linking process up. Woodward's tutorial is more focused for UD, and GSA SoF's tutorial is just a weak overview from what I've seen using spam content.

I'm thinking:

Use my pr 3+ alive links for.....

Tier 1 --> Directly to money site:
Articles
Wiki
Web 2.0

Tier 1 --> (Same Material) --> All of my Web 2.0 Links:
Articles
Wiki
Web 2.0

I picked a horrible niche, lesson learned. Which means I won't have as many websites to place/send links so what I have is more "reusable".

then a week/two weeks later
Tier 2--> No idea tbh....
I have a week/two weeks to map this out.

Need to see how to save the links I built to tier them -- > should come with sending first push out.

- Write Articles aswell as reviews
- Pick niche with heavy search volumes
- Keep finishing small goals

Tomorrow I'll have my first link campaign running in a long while.

$57 spent today. First costs beyond Domain/Hostings.

Burned out, the mere thought of doing anything Amazon affiliate related makes me want to curl up in my bed and watch parks and rec.

Going to take a break for a week or so. Catch up on school maybe and relax a little.

Looking into something I want to promote on Clickbank

Thinking Business-related as I like learning alot about public speaking and business/individual development. I'm taking a small group communication's class and I love it.
I'm into sociology/psychology and so this shit's fascinating.

Have a niche in mind I'd like to pursue. Might even be ANOTHER affiliate site... :O. But I want to do this as it's something I could branch into a larger, more encompassing site than the ones I currently have. Technically I "could" but I'd be scraping the bottom for material.

Would like to take a piece of the relationship niche, would focus on those who are about to give up but want to try one last thing. I know a thing or two about desperate chicks (; lol jk. My girls are dimes.

lessons so far from first journey
- PICK A HEAVY NICHE
- Set little, easily achieveable goals
- Outline Your Site. Have all topics in a flow chart. Story board it.
- Take a day to understand a niche before fully deciding it. Niche research > KW Research. I will defend this to the end.

- The thing you want to be doing least is the thing you should be doing the most (really should be working on the two sites above but... next tip)
- Don't be afraid to take breaks. Many of my mentors* admittedly take 1, even 2 month breaks.
- Work in a coffee shop

- Write Reviews AND Articles.
- fuck google. (focus forums/article comments on sites to get traffic, SEO takes forever and is such a hassle)
- Put work in & Don't give up!

What I want to try next:
-Offline ORM & SEO offering services here on BHW/the web.
-- I feel this would be challenging as I'm just turning 20. Meaning I don't have the age to be like yeah you should trust me. But I do have the fact I'm a young kid trying to pursue dreams and get shit done going for me.
-- As far as SEO goes I only understand Inter-linking a site, pushing articles and creating web 2.0 properties, I found some resources for ORM and I feel I could easily pull a script out of it, and since I'm notactually going to be doing the "work" I wouldn't really need to know beyond what the client does. Bake it 'til you make it.

- CPA ( not really sure how that process works yet. I feel like I do but I need to actually get into a network before I understand. )
- Applying to several as an "email marketer" tomorrow. I was told to do it on a Monday. And then call right away.
Will be my next journey, may even start tomorrow.....
