I joined a new affiliate program (launched 2 months ago) 1 month ago that I've been seeing excellent results so far (mainly thru social media). This program really has serious mass appeal which I believe is the reason for the early success I've had. I'm wondering if there are any blackhat or time tested methods that other members have used for affiliate stuff that work. I've done solo thru Safe-swap (which for me was junk), I've done CL postings (which I'm finding are getting ghosted more frequently now), and google adwords doesn't take kindly to affiliate sites for the most part.

I appreciate any insight as I'm looking to really take this early success to the next level.

Here's a tip that has made my conversions increase like there was no tomorrow.

Create a sandwich.

The meat is the main product your selling.

The bottom bun is free offer you throw in that supports the bottom half of your meat. The top bun is another offer that supports the top end of your meat.

Sounds a little weird but here's an example using a wordpress theme as an example.

Wordpress theme = meat

bottom bun = a free installation of the wordpress software
top bun = an ebook of how to market the website.

Nice one Sean. Your metaphor just made me hungry!

Thesasquatch, all top marketer preach going for limited PPC testing first to know if you have a winning offer or not. Allocate a small budget and go for facebook PPC. Zero in on the exact target group and see if you have a winner.

If so, go for social media and make a buzz there. If you follow sean's sandwich formula and the user like what you have, it will pick up quickly. Also, don't forget PPC if you are good with knowing your numbers and when to stop.
