**Note** I just heard about this and was told that it was "new" for the Enhanced Campaigns. I apologize ahead of time if this has been around for a whole, if this should be posted in the adwords section, or, if Im just a jackass and have the whole idea totally wrong...yeah, sorry

Anyways,
Has anyone heard since the new Enhanced Adwords feature for Mobile? Apparently you can run ads that don't link back to a landing page and only have a Click to call option. Your prospect clicks your ad on his mobile, and the only option they have is to call you.

Has anyone been trying this or have any experience in this area that can provide some insight?

I don't have a whole lot of history with adwords but I setup a Mobile campaign 2 weeks trying to get this feature to work. Problem is, I'm not getting 100% calls to my tracking number. Or atleast my "clicks" dont add up equally to how many "calls" i have gotten yet. But I am getting some.

I understand that you can't only run a Mobile Ad so I have a desktop version running with a low bid and horrible ad so I purposely don't get clicks. Then I boost my Mobile Ad bid by 300% above the desktops bid so I can try to only get clicks.

I also have the Ad Extension, Call Extension, Setup to my tracking number. And in that extension, I have it set as "Show the Following Links too: Just the Phone Number".

So In my opinion I did a pretty good job setting this up correctly so that each time someone clicks my Ad, it will force them to call my phone number, but I seem to be getting (or atleast paying for) more clicks then I am calls.

Anyone got any ideas?

Maybe people do not want to call and are just looking for information.

Setting your adwords campaign would be mistaken if you would like them to call. Instead you could use an opt-in email and get the lead to send emails later on this one.

You will always get more clicks than calls because when you click, it just enters the phone number in the dial pad. I have not seen an ad yet where in my android device the call started as soon as I clicked the ad.
