Hey guys! i've decided to make a new account and when I use hashtags, they do not work? Like I'm getting no likes from hashtags?
Why is this? Do I need a certain amount of followers?

There's more that goes into growing an account than just using hashtags. Most likely you're not going to gain a good number of followers from random hashtags alone. Sure, some people go through the latest hashtags and you may pick up a few likes, but most likely you'll have to start botting to see some growth.

Yes so would this be normal as a new account? My other accounts have no problem getting engagements from hashtags.

It might be because the account is so new and I would imagine not too many followers yet.
