New Account Shows When Searching Old User Name (Username footprint)

I built an account to 50k and switched the username and everything around, but when I search the old username, the account still shows up. But it just shows the new username...What gives? When will this stop? I don't like leaving footprints.

Bumping for a response from someone else who may have also experienced this, and knows how long it will take to stop allowing my account to be traced through searching my old username.

I check my old username, my new username isnt showing there anymore.
I checked it after 1-2 months. So it will disapear by time

I've only done it twice and it took 3-4 weeks for me.
