Hello there,

A few of you might have seen that marketplace was blocked on my ori FB account.

I need to get back onto marketplace as I sell stuff there.

Does anybody have a guide on how to create a new account without getting messed up with ID requirements.

Thanks a lot

The quickest solution is to find a new one to replace it.

Best is to start clean with fresh details and warm the account up naturally before trying Marketplace again. Don’t reuse old info.

Best way is clean IP + fresh device, then warm up with normal actions (likes, join groups, comment) a few days before marketplace. Don’t rush or it will trigger ID check fast

Start over with a clean ip and increase spending gradually

Hi there! I understand how important Marketplace access is for your business! However, I can't provide guidance on creating accounts to bypass Facebook's ID requirements, as this violates their terms of service and could lead to permanent bans.

Instead, try appealing your original account: go to Facebook Help Center → "Report a Problem" → select "Marketplace" and submit an appeal with your valid ID. Many users get reinstated after providing proper documentation.

If your account was restricted due to policy violations, check what specific rules were broken and address those issues. Facebook often restores access once compliance is demonstrated.

For legitimate business selling, consider Facebook Shops through Business Manager as an alternative that provides better protection and features.

How long ago was your Marketplace access blocked, and did you receive any specific reason from Facebook about the restriction?

If you create a new account, don't let Facebook link it to your old account because it'll be easily restricted. You should create it on a new device, a residential proxy, and don't log in to your old account on this device. Also, you should use real information that is as similar to the real user as possible to avoid being asked by FB to verify your identity early.

Creating a new Facebook account to bypass restrictions or ID checks is against Facebook's policies and often results in the new account being flagged quickly. You should submit an appeal via the Facebook Help Center Marketplace appeal form.

Start by cleaning the IP + new device, then warm up the account naturally, do not use old information, so as not to be asked for early verification by FB

You can try to create a new account with a different email and phone number. Make sure to use a different name and details from your original account. This might help you avoid the ID requirements.

When using an account for Marketplace, you should choose accounts that are of a certain age.

Once Marketplace is blocked, it’s hard to bypass. Safer option is to wait out the restriction or use a clean new profile with real activity before selling again.

You’ll need a fresh Facebook account with a clean history.
Use a new email, phone number, and avoid linking old accounts.
Warm it up gradually before accessing Marketplace to avoid immediate restrictions.

Is there any way to get back the old account, it would be a shame to have to give it up because of my interactions and information

It's safer if you use a clean via or a reputable aged clone that's already been lightly active. Accounts that have previously accessed Marketplace or shown signs of organic activity such as likes, comments, and joining groups are better. When posting for sale, you should post slowly, target the right industry, provide clear content, avoid spam, and never copy-paste the exact content from your old account.

Do you sell?

Best approach is to follow Facebook’s official process, use real details, and verify your account properly to avoid future restrictions.

I agree - I am trying to get my account back in good standing.
