Hello all,

I've been reading BHW for quite some time now. At least a few years. Decided to join some time ago and introduce myself.

I've been working with niche websites since 2010. Some of the niches I was in are: knitting (really low CPC, dont reccomend), crocheting (same) and business directories.

In 2015 I started an online courses website. It's in a specific niche for students. Now, 8 years later it's doing really well and I'm looking at new opportunities to spend my time on.

So I'm here to have a read, perhaps post a bit and mostly just hope to get some inspiration for a new product or niche site.

for your knitting and crochet sites where they how to type of sites or free patterns? or were you a market place trying to sell others knitted goods?

I just posted knitting patterns at first. For free. I curated those from the different wool companies. They post those patterns so people buy their wool.

Later on I had a drop shipping deal with a wool seller. So people could order the wool mentioned in the pattern with a few clicks. But the margins were too low and I quit after a year. Actually made a loss on that.
 
Welcome in here and nice thing because you didnt give up .This its the thing with those who succed in online marketing
