new account banned. what did i do wrong?

Just got a new account banned, not sure why? I thought everything I did was safe. Help tell me what I did wrong, so I can learn.

Here's what I did:
  1. Had a family member create an account (clean phone, United States located, family member doesn't use Instagram so no accounts have ever been created with it)
  2. Two weeks later, logged into the account with my own phone (located in same city). Changed the bio and added 9 original photos. (No link in the bio, all photos new so no copyright issues)
  3. Bought a private IG proxy through highproxies
  4. Started botting with FL, low settings (only Follow, delays of 140-240 seconds, max daily follows of 100-150) using the highproxies proxy
  5. Added account to Onlypult with proxy settings
  6. Did the same steps and created one more account (sharing same proxy, so 2 accounts per proxy)
  7. Day 1 on FL: everything okay
  8. Day 2 on FL: account #1 banned but account #2 banned

I'm not sure why the first account got banned. Phone/emails used to create the account were clean and never been used. Content was original. Private IG proxy used for IG services and FL settings low. It's strange that one account got banned but the other is fine. Does this mean that I will have proxy issues with account #2 because account #1 was banned on this proxy? Do I need to change the proxy for account #2?

FL leaves clear patterns that can be easily detected on IG side. I reverse-engineered FL a week ago.

That is a reason. Now it is undesirable to use bots for about a month . And two weeks is a short time .
 
Could be. I've seen a lot of complaints with FL lately of people getting Mass Bans across all Instagram accounts running.
 
What was the reason for baning?If you click "learn more" in the instagram message you get to instagram page wich tells you the reason for ban.#1 it can be content related in wich case you cannot recover the account #2 it will give you a list with instagram rules,wich means you got baned for "boting".First find out clear reason for ban.If it was because of FL all accounts would get baned,i doubt instagram selects wich accounts using FL to ban and wich not to ban(if that is the case like longdouble implies).
 
It could be almost anything:

1. posting 9 pictures on a new account straight away isn't the right way to do it.
2. proxies could've been a problem
3. FL and Onlypult might not work good together, leaving footprints.
4. Onlypult's system of uploading picture might be buggy and not coded the right way
5. FL might be just fcked up, since many have been reporting quite a few issues with it.

Over a short period of time, you used over 4 devices, not sure whether this can be a problem or not, but I'd not do this. Your friend's phone, your phone, Fl and onlypult, that's a bit risky imo.
 
It sounds like the consensus might be that FL is causing the issue? If that's the case, it's weird that account #2 is still fine. I did the same exact actions on account #2.
 
Well, I never get banned because of followliker. But, you can be an exception
 
Thanks everyone for the input. It shouldn't have been a proxy issue since I got a private IG proxy from highproxies. I haven't heard of anyone report any problems, so this would be a first.

But does this mean (since I shared the same proxy for account #1 and account #2) that I can no longer use this proxy for account #2? Does this blacklist the proxy and should I change the proxy for account #2...or is that just going to make a footprint for account #2?
 
I do 3 accounts per proxy. So far , working good for me.

IG bans are unpredictable. They ban legit accounts also for no reason.

What's the reason you got for your ban?
 
@prisonsoap your 2nd account is safe if you run in low non-aggressive settings.

Here's what they told me. Looks like the cause is because of botting/FL. I requested them to take another look. If this is the case that it's the botting, that means that FL bans are random. Account #1 and account #2 were the exact same steps.

"Your account got disabled for not following our terms. Some of the things we don't allow include artificially collecting likes, followers or shares, posting repetitive content or repeatedly contacting people for commercial purposes without their consent."

If IG bans an account, does that proxy/IP automatically get blacklisted? Or is it on a case by case situation? So far on day 4 of botting with account #2 on the same proxy that account #1 got banned on. No problems so far. Is this going to be a future problem?
