Hi, a month ago I created 3 accounts, everything was fine. 2 days got 400 followers and a few viral videos. I deleted a few failed videos and re-uploaded the next day. Nothing.... 3-4 days later I post daily and it seems like all my engagements are from my 400 followers. is it like my videos are not being recommended?
On the 2nd phone I use a different account, upload a video - this one (again unique, short, funny) gets no views,
Some of my friends keep getting popular and I started around the same time as them...
Are all 3 of my accounts shadow banned? What should I do. I have another device lying around... Should I create an account with vpn and new content?
Please help

What you're describing strongly suggests a shadowban especially if all views are stuck to your followers despite fresh content. TikTok tends to throttle accounts that show repetitive patterns: same IP/device across accounts, frequent video deletions, or overly optimized early behavior.
Avoid using a standard VPN it’s easily flagged. If you’re planning to restart, use a fresh device or a sandboxed setup with a mobile proxy (real mobile IP, rotating, geo-matched). Never log into old accounts from the same environment. Also, warm up the new account slowly post natural videos without hashtags or links at first to rebuild trust before scaling again.

Could be. Sometimes you'll get banned or removed from search/algorithm but you can still recover. Don't go on deleting/making a new account on the same IP just yet. Maybe it'll pass
 
you can try paid vpn like mullvad or expressvpn

Ohmygosh! Your accounts have been associated. The antidetect tools with the proxy now is the best way to deal with these issues.
 
It could be because TikTok flags reuploads of the same video file or very similar content, especially if you deleted them first. That may explain your drop right after reposting

Yeah, sounds like your accounts might be flagged or soft-shadowbanned it happens often after:

Re-uploading content too fast
Deleting too many videos in a short time
Using same IP/device across multiple accounts
Low watch time on recent posts

TikTok’s algo is brutal on pattern detection now.


What you can try:

Pause posting for 5–7 days (account cooldown)
Start fresh on a new device or factory reset + mobile data
Avoid VPNs they often trigger trust issues
Upload only original, high-retention content (1 vid/day max at start)
Don’t delete failed vids too fast — let the algo finish testing

Clean setup + slow warmup is key now. Shadowbans usually lift, but don’t keep forcing posts on flagged accounts rotate and rebuild.

Your account may have been shadowbanned. If you create a new account, you should create a new environment for it, for example, use a new proxy and a new device. If you use a browser, you can refer to antidetect browser + proxy.
