Their customer service has been completely unhelpful.
The Navigation on their website is terrible.

But today, an idiot who was doing some website work for me, uploaded the wrong backup file to my website and the last restore was last week sometime. Wasting several days of work.

Luckily, Namecheap had a daily back up, and the restore was really simple. They turned what would have taken days to fix in to an hour or so.

Usually I would only say bad things about them, but when I needed them today they came through.

I'm using them since 2017 and never had a problem

I love them, dirt cheap and I think the online help is great fro the price.. resolved some issues for me in minutes. Better than most of the cheap ones out there.

I have been using it for a year and have never had any problems. maybe your site is huge compared to mine.

Once i had to transfer domain to another account in godaddy and it took 3-4 days. Godaddy used to be good and now they are terrible, the obvious choice is namecheap.

I love Namecheap. I wouldn't recommend their shared hosting if you're running a website that's starting to get a lot of traffic, but in general I definitely think Namecheap is a company to take seriously :)

Never had issues, support has been quick and helpful and their prices are great.

I've had mostly good experiences with their support.

Seen good experiences only with them. Me however, every single time I write to their live chat (honestly about 20 times so far), all they do is redirect me to an article which I obviously already read. Adding to that is the fact that they first waste about 15 minutes of your time asking dumb questions, your support PIN (which they don't need because they will only link me an article anyways), AND they seem to have 20+ chats at once. Which makes their responses lack hard, sometimes I've had to wait 15+ minutes for a reply once the chat was picked up already...

I have a web hosting plan with Namecheap, although I haven't actually used it yet. I most just use them to purchase domains.

There's weird because I nearly never saw bad reviews about them, I suggest use Namecheap for your small-medium level sites, cheap enough and pretty good!

The only drawbacks:

1) they does not provide free SSL like let's encrypt (they provide free 1 year Positive SSL though, up to 50 domains for Cpanel), but you can always install a free one yourself after 1 year, very easy only need 5 minutes.
2) sometimes you may connect to a "not so competent" customer support, but most time, they solve your issue fast.
3) very few renewal coupons, but consider the price is already dirty cheap, and in each Black Friday, you almost can get things for free, well so, no complain at all!

I love Namecheap, I always recommend it to newbies, its a best choice when you start and not earning a million.

I think they are great, their customer service has been good the few times I've needed to contact them, and I think the navigation on their site does the job fine.

Most people speak highly of them, I think overall for what they offer and the price they are superb.

I asked them a question about sql and multibyte support. They had me waiting for over an hour and still didn't know the answer, on two different occasions.
