Hi,

I come to bhw today to discuss something I haven't seen in the past 4 years of my SEO career, I have a website which I gradually build links to with tools like sick,sb,amr,bmr it's quite a competitive niche but I was ranked 2 for a keyword I hardly ever targeted and 9 for a keyword which I constantly targetted, today I do a rank check and I see the keyword which was ranked 2 in at 168, and the keyword ranked 9 in at 680+, now normally when I see a website dancing I can often check ranks multiple times in a day and each time it will be a different rank, but today it's not happening like that, what do you think this is?

same thing happened to me just a couple of days ago. Was at postion 15 and 50 for then all of a sudden went to 800+ and 700+. But the very next day it went back to normal.
 
I hope it goes back to normal! What links did you build?
 
Are you sure it's a dance and you didn't get some panelty points?
 
I don't think you can get such a massive penalty
 
All I did was scrapebox blast, and it wasn't even that much, like 200 links I think.

But nothing to worry about I think when you come back you'll be stronger than ever, maybe even rank 1.
 
Hoe fully, can't see it though, web it happened to you was it all your keywords or just one?
 
I've had the exact same thing happen to me multiple times! I am certain that if you continue with the links and add some fresh content on a regular basis it will come back stronger then ever :)

All my keywords. I had 8 of them all jump to the 600+ range. But some came back stronger than before.

Ofcourse I've seen a dance like that before, they have stolen all my moves!

On a more serious note I think I'll add some more content and backlinks in hope it will return, I haven't checked results today yet
