Network Will Not Pay Me Help!!

Okay, I'm not going to name the network just yet. However, my account was locked and $3000 was held. I received no notification of my account being locked. They did not give me a reason or anything.

What can I do to get my money?

The affiliate manager locked my account but also said that he would still pay me. To me, that does not sound like the advertiser was angry. If the advertiser was angry then I would have been banned and the AM would have been informed right there that I should not be paid. It just seems fishy.

What exactly did you do? That is kind of an important factor here.. $3k isn't exactly peanuts.
 
A lot of networks will lock an account when something suspicious is going on. They wont tell you why because they are still investigating. Then they will usually contact you when they know what's up and give you a chance to explain before banning you.

The fact that they're paying you probably means they noticed something was up and not the advertiser so count yourself lucky :)
 
The only viable course of auction is to hire a layer. Right now there is layers that specialize in things like that and know exactly what to do. Screaming and yelling at them will not do anything. The only thing and what i would do here is find a layer that when you tell him what happen will know exactly what to do. Make sure you get one that already dealt with things like that and knows his stuff. Hope that help you out.
 
They told me I advertised on craigslist but I didn't. They told me the advertiser complained but they didn't show me any proof. My problem is that if the advertiser thought I advertised on cl then they would not even think about paying me....something does not seem right about that. Why are they even thinking about payment me if they really found something on craigslist? I haven't posted there so it's impossible.

My affiliate manager says he will do everything he can to pay me but he didn't pay me today as scheduled.
 
I haven't screamed or yelled at anybody. I believe an AM from another network my have called my current network and told them about me because I did advertise on cl in the past with the old network but that does not make it right for my current network to hold my payment.
 
Sounds like they really want to screw you out of your hard earned money. If you weren't breaking their TOS, then they should pay you. Demand to your AM proof of what you're being accused of. Don't give in to his stupidity and hopefully you will get paid.

When and if you do get your money, move on to another network.
 
what if they won't show me proof? My AM says if they pay me it will be after they've been paid from the advertiser. He says it could be a lengthy process.
 
I'd like to find another network immediately. This sucks. I have bills to pay and a family to support.
 
hmmm probrably advertiser doesnt pay the network..

advertisers are the one who's always causing the problems

Yes but the network says that the advertiser has not informed them that they weren't going to pay them. If the advertiser was not going to pay then they would have informed the network right away in my opinion if they were soooo sure that the traffic came from cl.


That's the problem I have with my network now. Someones lying. I don't believe the advertiser complained. I believe the AM from another network got angry with me and told my current network that I advertised his offers on cl....but I never advertised my current networks offers on cl.

i think its advertiser issue for sure..

When I signed up they asked what other networks I was with.

We'll it may be an advertiser issue but my old AM threatened me with a lawsuit and said he would "go public" whatever that means.
 
If you want to PM me some details on what kind of offers you usually run, and general method of traffic. I dont need details not trying to steal anything. But I might be able to steer you to a decent network. I work for this network btw. =)
