Network Solution is the worst registrar in the internet.

Requested their domain transfer help for three consecutive day but they keep denying. Be alert to take their services.

Sold out a domain. As they don't support internal transfer or push, I am requesting for code but they are unresponsive.

Hmm, okay. There are some German Providers where you need to cancel the Domain, and then there is the Option to Transfer it out (Receive the Authorization code).
It's kind of old-fashioned. I also do not want to say the name. Oh well, yes, I want to: STRATO.
The process is then kind of "automated"; you cancel the Domain, with the reason to transfer it out - STRATO initiates the cancellation, and then within 24-48hrs, you get the Auth Code.
Sometimes life is not that easy, if you have not your portfolio on any leading US registrars.
It may be worth checking their TOS; otherwise, you can always report them to ICAAN.

Yes, going to file a complain.

Why do you guys bother with these unheard of registrars and host providers in the first place?
You're trading those 2-3$ registration discounts with lack of security and transparency.

Always go with the established names for serious projects, might be costlier but way less headache.

It was an aged domain only available there. Otherwise always I try to avoid Network Solution.

You are right, but the options are limited for ccTLD-specific Domains, such as ".de" for Germany.

I don't think reporting to ICANN will do anything. Network Solutions have been around for very long, they are the mother of registrars and where the first, exclusive managing .com if memory serves right. And yes, the majority of domain registrars are shady on general principle. It seems the business models lends it self to being like that

My only firm recommendations for the time being (and in the case of Cloudflare only because they've been rather cool for so long now, with their main product DNS and CDN)
- Cloudflare
- Hetzner (only small selection of available TLD's)

I also strongly advise against getting your domain from your hosting provider, as part of a hosting package, a practise that may have originated in Germany and is still very common there, and used to be very rare in the US, not sure about now. You'll expose yourself to blackmailing (once you want to cancel the hosting and move on) for no good reason.
