Hey guys,

I have a little question.. how would you detect that your AM or network is shaving yo ass?

Run identical offers from several networks and compare
conversion rates.

Yup that's what I'm doing and right now I can see very weird shit with the statistics.

I have the clear margin of clicks between where I know there is a sale.. so I noticed that on some days in one of the networks where I have been.. I can have tons of clicks and I get 0 sales.. that's strange because i know the pattern of the days.. which days convert better etc.. but there are few days where everything is totally messed up. So that's why I was wondering.

Thanks for your answers

Ah, sucks to find out your network of choice might be scrubbing. Are you going to move your traffic or deal with the inconsistent stats?

Well, I was referred to one nice network so.. I'll do some split testing and see what's up, but yeah.. I guess I'll move my traffic away because that's not acceptable.

MB is known for shaving, I still don't understand why you haven't swapped if you know something fishy is going on :P

Does anybody take into consideration it might be the advertiser who is shaving?

Yes, that's possible too, but usually when offer converts it's all automatic..

All networks shave accept that as gospel

Just run the same offer on different ones
to see who is shaving the most

Don't be afraid to go back to older networks
with different offers
as they do clean up their acts, because they lisong too many good affiliates

Well, I'm not 100% sure yet.. I'm testing 50-50 traffic right now.. I'll see how it goes. I'll update the situation in few days

There is no network that doesn't shave, but your duty is to find the one that shaves less then others :D
Just split test your offers with different networks and you will see who shaves most ;)

Well it would be nice like even if they are shaving.. they shouldn't forget their "STEAL HIS MONEY" button down for whole day or for days (like in my case).
It's kinda difficult not to notice that the stealing mode is on when I'm looking at statistics. From $200-500 a day to $0 a day... lol
