I posted this in the trackback generator thread but it might have been inappropriate, I dont know if it was considered a hijack or not, if so I apologize. At any rate, I have a guy that worked with me, he is an amazing programmer. He designed an interface for us that would scan the web for thousands of software and hardware titles from competitors sites and then would update our prices to always remain slightly cheaper, we were one of the top retailers as as result. I think his skills would translate over well for BH tools, I just need to give him an idea as to how successful they would be. I have had him do something things for me for harvesting, and keyword research and it was a snap so I think he could do something much more advanced. I even have him primed for a revenue sharing plan if it looks like its something that will really fly. If anyone has an interest in proposing a dream tool, I would like to pitch it to him.

He has a day job and an overbearing girlfriend so whatever I try to get him in on has to be immediately attractive and not need constant attention. The upside of it is that he is totally unfamiliar to this world so he wont be shopping it around and he doesnt have an interest in selling something on his own.

Buzz,

an ultimate dream tool would be one to spam Digg and Propellor in a MASSIVE way. I know some others to, about 2 or 3.
So if that one tool could do all 5................ hello money.

Something that could work for Digg and especially Propellor would be fanatstic. so would being able to update the script so it can get around the inevitable changes that Dig and Propellor are going to make in response pretty quickly:)

I think anything along these lines would have to be sold as a subscription service or it's going to get warez'd and then too many people trying to use and abuse it.

I was thinking that a subscription service would be a good idea as well. No real danger of losing a chunk of money, warez, etc. My only concern is getting him to update it, but Im pretty sure that if the money is right and he could move to it full time and it would give him more time to stay at home chained to his shrew of a girlfriend, he would be into it. He just doesnt have any idea of the money potential. I am trying to make it clear to him without sounding to outrageous and also without triggering the greed switch.
