.com is taken. Technology niche. Planning to monetize with amazon and CPA.

Technology niche I would use .net because it sounds techie. Everything else I use .org because it sounds more like a non-profit, community driven site.
 
i think its a matter of semantics really. that being said, when I cant get the com I always go with the net.
 
There is no difference so what do you like better. However those associations with each domain may be handy.
 
.net domains are used for technological, networking sites and .org domains are used for organizational sites.

So it would be better to use domains that corresponds with the type of your website.

i prefer .org when .com is not available, because i get better seo result with .org
 
We have had much success with both .nets and .orgs so if you have reasonable SEO skills they truly are the same in my books.
 
dont think it makes a difference to SEO, but .net just sounds better
