Only different between .com and .net is I think when direct linking, more people are likely to click a .com then a .net Doesnt affect SEO anymore though.

I think this is the wikipedia effect instead of the .org extension itself. Wiki is .org and ranks for everything.

You could be right. We don't know if they took this into account in the data compilation.

In case anyone cares I went for the .Net name and also bought the .Org and will use the .Org as a doorway page I think to the .Net.

I have good ranking sites with either .net and .com and to me, the only difference is the .com being more popular than .net.

Interesting data... it also looks like .info is doing a bit better than .com
