With known dipshit Ajit Pai and the FCC pushing the fall of net neutrality, how will this affect your operations & earnings if it were pushed through? How will this affect SEO? I know this has been a topic before and probably will in the future (if it doesn't get pushed through) but, the probability and discussions this time around seem to be extremely intense.

I would love to go in on this and it is indeed an important issue that affects people like us directly, but it will most likely get locked or ignored completely. They don't want political themed things here, even if it affects this business community. There are better places to talk about such topics, here is more about methods and getting that money, which is fine.

Oh damn, okay, I didn't mean it to come across from a political standpoint, simply the business aspect that would impact this community.

Oh I understand. I did something similar a month or so ago about the GAB fiasco with registrars censoring things and there being no actual pro free speech registrars or hosting companies, and it was completely ignored. I am sure it would have been locked if it got any discussion, or may have anyway. I didn't think you were coming off political, and neither really was I with my thread, but it eventually turns out into a polarizing discussion and I guess they want to avoid that here, even if it pertains directly to the business of internet marketing and promotion. It's unfortunate, but I would think it is better that way, it keeps the forum focused on making money.

I guess the general philosophy is: When you have enough money, you don't need to worry about politics and freedom, you can buy your way in and out of everything! lol!

In short - you pay for the amount of bandwidth you use in volume meaning the more stuff you want to load/download, the more you have to pay - or something like that.

It definitely would affect a decent amount of people, including myself with an ecom business.

For those who don't know, net neutrality is: "the principle that Internet service providers and governments regulating most of the Internet must treat all data on the Internet the same, and not discriminate or charge differently". And if this goes away, it adds a type of monopoly to the web.
