1&1 has COM and ORG domains for $1 for the first year, and NameSilo has NET domains for $7.65/yr.

1and1 domains for $1 for the first year but the renewal costs is very high. Namesilo are good too.

Because of past experience, I wouldn't go for 1&1 even if they offer those for free. Support is terrible, specially when they realized we want move a domain or more out of them. if this is a for a long term project then you should look at renewal prices too. Renewing .nets are expensive than .org. These days keeping a .com is cheaper long term. If you want to get one for $1 then use CheapDo99 at Namesilo.com and you can get any TLD for that price. Their renewal .com price is $8.99.
