I've been trying to edit from wordpress. If it's not possible to edit from there, then I will delete the whole thing the cpanel.
reup your index file, get the index file from a wordpress setup see if that gets it, http://wordpress.org/download/

I PM'd you about this very thing. You should NOT delete the account, there's a good chance you can recover the db, just follow the dns change advice, and point the domain to a temporary web hosting account so you can recover the database.
Nerdfrat are a bunch of amateurs anyway.
i found their whole network of sites and registrar aliases in just a few min. Guy is still trolling googles forum. they bought gsa & registered lots of bad domains and that seems to be it. they left much more of a signature than they think.
may have had a good thing goin with some rankings now, but its be shortlived since they being so dumb.
