NEO Taking A Dive Any Thoughts

I wonder what the best coin for mining for....

going to build a 8 graphic card rig....
https://whattomine.com/
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/eth?HashingPower=30&HashingUnit=MH/s&PowerConsumption=140&CostPerkWh=0.12

The first one tells you which is the most profitable coin to mine at the very moment, and on both of the sites i posted you can check how much you are gonna earn approximately based on your hashing power + electricity usage.

I don't think they are that accurate, but they should be fairly close.

I invested a lot in neo when it was trading at $40-50 and then put in more when it went down sub $20. All i see is other coins gaining double digit %'s daily while NEO is still hovering $22 mark.

Seems like holding neo is limiting from other trades.

Is this the time to cut losses and go invest in other coins? I know there are a few scheduled thing for september but will any of them make neo rise over $40 i doubt

Are you positioning yourself as a trader or investor? If investor, hold as long as fundamental (primary reason that you invested in the first place) is intact. If trader, you should be moving your funds around various crypto and not just so call 'blue chip' crypto. Unless you are trading millions USD worth of volume, it is unlikely that you will be stuck with liquidity issue as a trader. If you are trading then you need to be nimble and move your funds around. Cutting losses whenever necessary.

There is no distinct advantage/disadvantage between trader or investor except the primary objective of putting your money in the first place. Trader buy to sell so funds need to be nimble to create velocity on money flow so as to create profits. Which means you must be ready to accept losses to protect as much of your capital and look for the next market opportunity.

Whereas investor do not need to bother with so many daily activities. Just buy and hold. If the fundamental is strong, the demand from the public will be there to boost the price. Should even buy more when prices go down.

However you can easily lose money if you cannot differentiate whether you are going to be a trader or investor since both functions differently in terms of money management.

Example NEO at $20+ looks good if you are an investor but as a trader it looks bad since the appreciation is pretty much limited. To make 100% ROI, the price will need to move up to $40+ and above. Based upon current strength of demand it can potentially take quite some time to hit that level. I would rather go for other crypto in this case as a trader.

Only 1 thought comes to mind. Buy some more. Wait to see it dives more. Buy some more. Wait to see if it any new China news comes out.

In other words. Hodl.Hodl.Buy.Hodle.Hodle.Hodle.

The bitcoin market is under China's thumb atm. But it won't fall passed a certain amount and it WILL recover since it's literally a more superior cryptocurrency technologically than any other, including ether and bitcoin. China will eventually adopt it.

Neo pumping, presumably because of the Shanghai meetup today. It may fall sharply after this pump.

You call THAT a pump? You poor abused NEO owner :(
Shanghai talk happens in 2 hours. So the pump didn't happen yet. But yes it is a pump, it went from 47 to 54. Not sure if you know how math works. . .

Neo is a long term gain. I dont see any earnings on quick spikes anytime soon. I am also losing with NEO :(

I read that the coolcoin dot com/neo is trading at about 15% less than bittrex. anyone use it to buy neo for cheaper?

All you traders, I donno how you do it! I used to do it years ago but that shit was stressful...profitable but stressful.

i miss the good ol' days of converting linden dollars to btc on btc-e...good times right?

Just bought $5,000 worth of NEO. I used to own only like 30 when it was ANS and sold around $40. NEO will be huge in the coming months I'm predicting. Once China chills the fuck out (only due time) NEO will cooperate with the government's regulations and I suspect the train will ride back up. Plus, $17 is a GREAT entry point.

Hope you guys bought a lot when it was low. Its now going to the mooooon again.

huge payday for u OP if u kept those WTC....gg.

Thank you. I did not expect Walton to go up so much. *Chuckle*
Let me wait a day or two before selling.

Currently my portfolio is making around $1xxk+ using an initial capital outlay of $4k. So quite happy with Crypto at the moment.

I invested around $60k out on Pre ICO/ ICO lately. Spreading around on all if not most of them. Buying around $300 - $500 per coin. I just need a few of them to give me a ROI of more than 10+ I will be in the green. Following the advice from another fellow member. Disclaimer, I can afford to do this as I have the capital to burn and wait. Even if I lose this $60k I won't be bothered since my portfolio is already heavily in the green. Do not follow what I am doing if you have no capital nor prepared to lose. It is possible to lose everything with crypto since it is not an asset.
