Woke up today checked my rankings, Someone flagged my video enough times to take it down. How do I know this? Nothing was problematic with the Video. the video itself was 100% compliant with Youtube's policies. I recently just took #1 and once i did i got blasted with negative comments and poor backlinks. People that use Negative SEO get me so upset. Play the game fairly, dont be so low as to hurt someone else's rank. Pathetic

FUCK YOU if you do negative SEO.

That being said, is there anyway to recover a taken down youtube video?
Or is it best to cut your losses and just move on?

Unfortunately I guessd you cant do anything. If I were you I would change the video a bit and reupload on a new account because starting over is much easier than trying to recover

cut off 0.2sec from the beginning, and 0.3 from the end, recompress, reupload

Just reupload it? And what the guy did wasn't negative seo, it's just video flagging.

So how do you get rid of a Youtube video in Google? There is a video above one of my sites, it is not monetized or anything, but it forces my site below the fold so all you can see is Google add and the video. What is the best way to get rid of it?

Write articles manually on the most popular Web 2.0/Wiki sites. Like Care2, Wordpress, etc and push links to them. Give them social signals too. It should push that away. Web 2.0s and such link to your website of course. That's what I have done to outrank youtube. It works.

You promote your own video, do proper marketing and rank it higher.

I am not ranking a video. I have outranked it many of times, but it is the only thing which keep resurfacing. Basically the video is of some turd playing a casino game. It is years old and of no use to anyone. I would not get rid of it if it was monetized in any way, but basically, it is just annoying when it pushes my site down. It would be best for all if it was not there.

Also I do not like keep hitting my site with links in case it gets penalized, as it has stuck where it is for ages, so the logical thing to do would be bubble the Youtube video.

Basically what's been said, get your own video using the same keyword to rank higher. But the video has to be informative.
