Negative SEO

again and again, Fiverr blast on same urls with same anchor text.

Benefits of -ve SEO :- As the name reveals, SEO is nothing but ranking of websites from now where to top pages, where as negative SEO means dropping of ranked websites to now where..

I'd start out by looking at their anchor texts and other aspects of their SEO, you may find they are already slightly over-optimized, giving you somewhere to start and saving you time

Yeah I see your point. But how do you know it wasn't some guy on the 2nd or 3rd page that happened to try and hit everyone on page 1 with neg SEO so that he could move up? Or maybe if you're at #5, one of the guys in the top 1-4 spots hit your site because they saw you moving up the ranks and didn't want to lose their position in the future? People can draw pretty good conclusions as to who hit them, but at the end of the day, there is nothing that gives concrete evidence as to who it was.

I know because I run the 1st page results through a link checker and if only my site was spammed with kwkwkwkwkwkw I am certain it wasnt some page 2 guy...
 
Most of the people that throw Negative SEO campaigns at someone and see the site drop only to reappear higher weren't doing it correctly in the first place. There's a lot more effective methods than just blasting someone with a bazillion blog comments.

Exactly.

Negative SEO is an extremely dangerous tool. I have noticed that it is much easier to knock off sites from SERPs than to move up sites.

Google is still sleeping. The Disavow is useless for a site that has been linked from 1000s of spammy sites.

I have a very strong feeling that negative SEO will get out of hand in 2013 and and Google will have to serious steps to curb it.
 
Negative SEO is always dead with the passage of time due to the Google huge invention called Google Disavow, but still if you're interested in this then according to me, fiverr services are good for some good negative seo, or use automated software's who create or makes the 10000 of backlinks within an hour. In which Scrape Box, Xrumer, EWP, and other automated soft are at top of the list.

Disavow only works if you target all of the links pointing at you.
If there are a million links created daily, you're not going to be able to go after that.
Yet again, if you're just blasting 150K blog comments with the same anchor at someone, you're not doing Negative SEO correctly.
 
One thing you can try for negative SEO is building Web 2.0 properties with spun trashy articles with links directly to the main website of your competitor. This will show as spam in the search engines and the person will most likely be hurt by the links until the links are removed. Since it's a Web 2.0 property the links will almost never be removed.
 
As for me, i think it's a grey area with this stuff. If you have a pretty high quality site and focus on building quality links, and some asshole comes along with a shitty emd 1-page wordpress blog and outranks you, then i say blast his site to nowhere.

literally lol-ed at this statement because we've all seen this site outranking us at some point...so irritating....makes me wonder if g actually does care about quality content
 
Ok, little tip for the curious, and one way to do a white hat version of nseo is to use tineye on their site, then report image copyright violation to g...it is a win/win as I see it. Most people copy images to populate their sites, comes back to bite them in the end.
 
Cutts has essentially stated that all the claims of successful negative SEO attacks Google has looked into don't hold up.
 
If blasting a site with spammy links doesn't work, why does everyone say not to blast Scrapebox, GSA Ser or SEnuke to your money site?

2 things

1- I have come to feel the same way about SEOMOZ but not sure why. For me it's just a 'gut' feeling as if they are kissing google's ass or something. Why do you feel the way you about them specifically?

2- If Negative SEO doesn't work (as in the case above) then why would google create the disavow tool?
