Negative SEO on my small site?

Hello everyone,so the small site that I was building for the few months finally started to pick a small amount of google traffic for some low competiton keywords.

I was checking AWStats and found some weird searched keywords besides the usual ones,it goes like this:
X=random letter
^XXX^XXXX^XXXXX^XX
So is someone trying to neg seo me with these weird keywords?I checked the backlinks and there were a few weird websites but not much.
I'm not really sure what this is about,it would be really petty to do that for such a low traffic,but if it's true then I don't even want to imagine what it would be like ranking a high competition niche website

You need to build a strong link profile to rid yourself of nseo, otherwise there is nothing you can do, it is effective and rampant on the WWW.

like said before you have to link maybe run some ads

Unfortunately, anything is possible.

You can disavow the links you don't want in Google's search console.
