Negative seo on amazon and big brands does work!

Hello,

I thought I would just share something with you all. But first let me say that negative seo done on small niche websites is nono your just hurting someone livelihood and its really not right at all.... so please dont.
But negative seoing big websites can be done and it ma take a while for the effects to take place but it can be achieved.

For instance if your search results just have the dreaded amazon and ebay block which you cannot get past even though you might be the world leading expert you still cannot get past amazon and ebay at the top.. google is ranking these websites not because they have contextual links but because of amazon and ebays link juice that flows through amazon and or what ever big website it is. Uusally amazon/ebay urls dont have many backlinks pointing to them at all meaning clarifying the point that its amazon link juice that ranks that site... but we all know that anyway.

Heres a few observations though that I have found

If you blast a authority website with loads of irrelevant anchored spam links it will start to rank for that keyword.. sometime quite quickly depending on the spam..... but it will then disappear again after a while. how soon is how irrelvant the keyword is to the url. If you pick a keyword that shows up abit on the url but is out of context to the acutal meaning of the page it may stay for a bit longer and slowly go down and down the serps.

So that suggests that google does penalize in some way authority websites.

If you displace the flow of authority link juice flowing into the website with spam eventually more spam bad links will dominate than the powerful link juice.... Abit like pouring orange juice in a cup full of coke eventually the coke will turn yellow. The more inner the page is the less authority link juice will be flowing in it.. like it easyier to derank a inner inner amazon product page than the amazons homepage.
Your just battling amazon authority link juice and eventually it will turn yellow...with enough spam links..lol

If every person wanting to rank did this to amazon... just about all the product pages (wich dont usually have links) will have spam link juice pointing to them which will also flow into other pages as well...

-Penguin updates have removed youtube videos from the serps that have spam links pointing to them.. a few of my niches that have attracted affiliate marketers I have seen this to be the case.
-BBC website was hit by a manual spam action once
-You can spam a amaozn/ebay/youtube link to the top of the serps really quickly and see if gone again just as quickly

Great contribution but We need to know if this is something you have tried yourself or just something you are "guessing" ?

I mean have you done any experiments on this technique ? or is it all theory ?

Done experiments with this myself. My niche had 2 youtube videos 2 amazon and 2 ebays... all apart from one amazon remains. But its gotta be said that it takes more then just a few quick blasts every now and again... months it has taken. I have actually helped boost mine and the small websites up in the serps for my keyword.

The annoying thing is though you can be working in a niche and because amazon has so many products you can successfully target one amazon link for one keyword but in the same niche for a slightly different keyword you can be facing a totally different product page so you gotta start a new campaign against that one too.

which sounds like someone who is complaining that ebay and amazon will rank above all the other websites whatever you do. Which comes as a contradiction to this post.
However I saw that after that post , you started saying that you can NSEO on big authorities. But I hardly can beleive that the experiment took you only 12or 13 days to show up your results.

I'm not here to argue you with you, but just looking for some more indepht explanations from your side, because what you are claiming is really interesting .

When i wirte that post... i didnt know if my negtaitve seo was working thus i thought at the time that it could never work... but i stuck with it.. After months of doing negative seo i eventually got the results from penguin 2.1. It take much longer than 12-13 days... I had fluctuations before the penguin 2.1 where amazon and ebay pages would be replaced by different one or would just jump around page 1 and page 2... but I didnt know at the time why? With the sudden total dispearnce of the urls i spammed after penguin 2.1 I am very sure now negative seo can be done on these big websites... Iv done it too big big brand with tv adverts which may not be as big as amazon but still a authority in the niche and totally destroyed them and didnt have to wait for penguin 2.1 for that to happen. Just takes quite awhile.
