Hi,

So my main competitor just negative seo'd the shit out of my website. I know it's him because he contacted me a few days prior to blackmail me into stopping him from doing it. Anyway, I didn't give in and now I have tens of thousands of backlinks links pointing to my site with just 1 keyword. My website is now nowhere to be found. Should I waste days or even weeks with the disavow tool, start again from scratch, or fight fire with fire..

I hate these people, they can't outrank me, so instead of being better than me, they try to fuck me up. Now I have to waste a lot of time doing something other than making money.

What should I do. I though about sending millions of backlinks using xrumer blasts to his site, but that isn't really me. Two wrongs don't make a right and all that. But this guy has seriously fucked me.

Advice please.

if he is your competitor why would he tell you he is blackmailing you. You could easily turn around and do it to him and in this case who wins? Either it was not your competitor or you just assume it was him.
Just a guess and I could be wrong, but something does not add up.

If you do good SEO,it is very hard to do negative SEO these days. You most likely just ranked for some easy competition keyword,in which case just rank again.

Just 301 the site to a new site...preferably aged domain and you will be back in no time.

Disavow is an easy step 1, and if he hit a single inner page you can 404 that page to a new page in the meantime.

Secondly, don't assume that this lame attack will have a lasting effect. If its obvious to you then its obvious to Google. Give them time to sort it out before cutting and running. 95% of negative SEO I've seen doesn't have a lasting effect.
