Well friends, i was #1 on G00gl3 for my keyword and i was mad because a (so called) "non profit" organization (aka. big money for the members of the board and 10's of useless workers eating founds from donators and the state...) decide to enter my niche and finally got position #2.
I was using white hat (and occasionally some gray hat) SEO techniques, they don't give a shit about SEO...

I was worrying that soon or latter their site will hit my on #1 position and i decide to blast them with some low (very low) quality fiverr blasts. I get 2 gigis of 50.000 post comments one each month for the last two month.
Finally after almost 3 months they get position #1 and i'm now #2.
I check their backlinks (as i do regularly) using Open Site explores and except some (no more than 10 backlinks...) from other sources (no high PR, no authority sites) all the backlinks they had (more than 30.000 according OSE) are from by blasts!

Believe it or not i help my competitor, to be on position #1!

They said that it is possible to do Negative SEO, my experiment has a different result. My "negative SEO" actually HELP this site to gain position #1!

Think again if you plan to do this...

that is a common belief and it looks like it is true in your case

This is a very funny story. But it does not surprise me either. It is possible that after some time, due to poor backlinks, their site move back to position #2. One friend of mine wanted to quickly get lots of backlinks and so he bought Fiverr gigs. After some time he moved up in the search, but it lasted only a short time. Eventually Google moved his site to even worse position than it was originally.

When a website has already 5000 legitimate backlinks from a SEO campaign, yes you need to blast them X10 if you like to have some possibilities.
But when a web site has ONLY 10 low quality backlinks (by luck since they don't do any SEO) did you think that you still need millions?
I don't think so. They had only 10 backlinks on a 4 year website and i blast them on a two months period with 100.000 backlinks this is X10.000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What goes around, comes around. I frowned not after seeing that it's gone wrong but at your mentality.

Hope you never do any Neg SEO campaigns again instead concentrate on building quality backlinks to your site.

LOL.

You should know that authority site are more immune to neg seo. As you have mentioned, your competitor site is a 4 year old non profit site with 10 backlinks. But it hits number 2. From that background of the site, it screams "authority".

Anyways, most of the time, blasting authority sites will only help them.

Funny story. First of all, it is morally unethical to tamper with someone else's site. You'll go to hell for this.

Now to the specifics, you should be doing SEO on your own site and working on to improve it. Forget backlinks, improve your on-page SEO - titles, meta, dupe content, duper URLs, broken links, PAGE SPEED etc etc etc..

Then follow most of the backlinking strategies to rank higher.

it screams "authority".

This is not an "authority" site and in any case doesn't scream!
They are a bunch of thieves who decide to enter a niche using the "non profit" scheme!
They don't have backlinks from ANY authority site! Only some blogspot & wordpress blogs (from real people though - not SEo zombies).
They have PR N/A after 4 years!

Everything you mention already done. I was No1 for 3 years. I survive Panda-Penguin and all the animal updates.
I have PR3 they have PR n/a

When some thieves using the "non profit" scheme, enter YOUR niche and they play dirty games with the food of YOUR family, i will contact you again to have a conversation about "morals" and "unethical" :)

Out of curiosity for the back links did you use profanity or course lanuage? Or did you use the key word? Haha that'd be dumb.

Haha back linking on tourettes.

Aged domain of 4 years might be the reason. Doesn't matter if they had links or not, they've been around for 4 years.... good to know for protecting new sites that domain age is huge. Either transfer via 301, or build directly on purchased.

I am a newbie but can't help but notice a very one sided view.

They don't do SEO but decided to step in your niche?
You rather annihilate rather than be better at the game?
You bought the niche? (you can actually)
A PR of N/A after 4 years and outranking you is not whispering something?

You are right tho, this was not a good idea. Not because it is unethical but because it doesn't solve your problem.
But, it was useful that you posted this.

When I say authority, I don't mean moral or ethical authority.
What I'm talking about is authority in the eyes of google.

BTW, what is outranking you? a page of their site or their root domain?

I use only two Keywords for 100.000 links blast. One of this two is the main keyword and the second is "eshop"

This is not the usual IM stuff, this is brick & mort business. One day can happen to everyone...

I already notice that for the last 3 years (apart from Panda-Penguin and the rest Zoo kingdom) i was #1.
There was a few competitors doing SEO, some of them very solid work but they can;t stay on #1 position more than 1 week. After the October G00gl3 update most of them they disappear, others are now #3 and bellow.
I can't say that "I do the best SEO in the world", but at least for the last 3 years i'm sure that i do a good job.
There are maybe ways to do better job but not much. Of course we have to keep in mind the ROI aspect. I cn't spend 10.000$ on first class SEO to get back 1000$!
