One of the client site I was working on lately started to rank pretty well. Its been 2 months now since it started regaining its rankings after being thrashed by a couple of google algorithmic penalty in December.

So a couple of weeks ago, I started to see some porn related keywords in Ahref organic keywords report. I dig a bit but ahref was unable to found any links with those anchor.

Today I checked the Google Search Console and it seems that only links pointing to that sites are from porn sites. Here take a look at top links, domain and anchors of the links pointing to the client website

DnvYvlh.png

Google search console showing this website as my website

http://shop.bsigroup.com/AffiliateRedirect.aspx?url=http://0tub.com/hots-ebony.htm

Interestingly different pages from all porn domains are pointing to this website
http://shop.bsigroup.com/AffiliateRedirect.aspx?url=http://many-different-domain-com-net

and for some strange reason Google search Console is considering these links
http://shop.bsigroup.com/AffiliateRedirect.aspx?url=http://0tub.com/hots-ebony.htm

as my client website

Now the strange this is I am unable to find my website link or any link to http://shop.bsigroup.com/ on these porn sites. I have check the source code, used the site as Google Bot but still nothing..

Has anyone here ever experienced such thing ?

Definitely not an error. This was done intentionally, probably by his competitors.

The same thing happened with one of my affiliate sites that used to milk heavy. There are some people in this world who rejoices to see others burning (some bad people who are also our serp competitor in this case).

This is not a SEO negative attack.
Basically they are blasting your site and indexing with those sites.

Imagine this scenario, that you may understand way better
1. You go to a forum like BHW and you post an article with an anchor text lets call it: "dog food" pointing to your site "https://mydogfood.com"
2. Now you have another site called https://foodfordogsblog.com there you put a link to the page of BHW forum where you put this "dog food" anchor. The main goal of doing this, is helping Google index the BHW post as soon as possible.
3. Finally you profit from an outgoing link from BHW to your mydogfood.com

If BHW checks their linking profile, they will see a lot of dog things linking to them :p

Ok, now change BHW for your site bsigroup.com and change the dogfood sites, for porn sites and now you may understand why they are doing this.

Solution: remove that affiliate redirects system (AffiliateRedirect.aspx), they will stop using it for linking purposes. Your site is probably listed in a GSA blast list, this is why you have so many incoming links from proxy index sites.

Also I recommend you to disavow all those porn domains: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main

BUT that's the strange part I am talking about.

bsigroup.com is not my client site. Its a third party site which Google, for some reason, seems to think is my client site as seen in 2nd image.

Also I cant find either bsigroup.com or my client site link on any page or website that seems to be linking to bsigroup.com as per Google search console.

Now the only logical explanation is that there are several domains 301 to bsigroup.com ...and then somehow bsigroup.com is linked to or redirected to my client site.

Funny thing is bsigroup.com seems to be an established UK company and I highly doubt that they will be using their platform for such thing. Infact I have emailed them about this and waiting for their response.

Plus I am unable to find my client website link or bsigroup.com link on any porn domain so far.

So weird. In that column appear the URL just when the URL is different from the target URL you are querying.
Generally it doesn't differ much, parameters or https/http or www/non-www.

But you are saying that the web is completely different, which may be a very rare glitch, as you say Google may have related in some point that site with yours, as yours which make no sense.
If it's a glitch, just disavow to avoid the glitch behaviour to affect you somehow.

But when you enter this section expect to see very strange things and also very outdated. Linking pages which may seem intentional negative SEO which make no sense.

Indeed its weird. And the funny thing is i cant find either my client site or bsigroup site links on even a single page among those several domains. Even Ahref isnt showing any redirection links.

I had a bad experience with disavow tool in past so i am a bit skeptical to use that. i have emailed the company bsigroup...lets see if they take care of that aspx redirect issue :) that is the safest bet for me it seems

If that company is your client. Will not be your client very long.

Rule number 1 in seo field don't give away your niche.

Rule 2 in business don't give away your client

I suggest remove that site from here

If you are into SEO is mandatory to use it. Don't be sceptical. Learn the rules and everything will be fine.

yes you are right..it is not ...but i was hoping to see if someone else has this sort of experience

Hello @seoz87

This is my first post in this forum. I decided to write in this topic because my website was also attacked in the same way. For several months I have been positioning a new website focused on advertising CPA offers in the Ogads network. Like you, the moment I started to achieve decent positions, there was a negative attack on my side. The scale of the attack may not be as large as yours, because I received much less negative bad links, however, it still significantly reduced my site's rankings. The screen with the list of domains you have presented to some extent coincides with the list for me:
khzJFSz.png

Why do I think this is the same type of attack?

Because that person uses strange redirects to pornographic websites. In case your site uses bsigroup.com for this purpose, it is http://www.datumconnect.co.nz/ra.asp?url=
dJCtvPK.png

For now, I added all junk domains to the disavov tool, unfortunately rankings have not returned. I would be grateful if you could find anything new and share this information here.

Greetings

That's the point, no, no. I did a really big review when I was preparing the report for the disavov tools, but my site was nowhere to be found.

This is exactly the same attack model that occurred on your site.

Recently, I also noticed that another of my sites was attacked in the same way. Some bad domains coincide with those on page 1, some are different, but the attack method is identical. The common denominator for both parties is that I bought the same services for them at Seoclercks before. Have you used any of the Seoclercks services?

Has your site traffic also been affected by this attack?

What niche are you in? If you don't feel like writing this in public, send me a PM.
