I am asking because my website has been neg SEO'ed, last time I check my backlinks was 1K according to ahrefs but today checked it again an amazing 40K fcking Backlinks pointed to my site.

I would understand if a KID does this, a stupid sh*t who knows nothing, he do not know that I could flag his/her site as well.

@anyone had this, what have you done? Will it affect my current ranking?

Some info about my site:

  • 8 month old
  • Ranking top 10-30 for most of its keywords
  • Steady ranking for 4 months

KARMA is a bitch!

Yes, it still works. Especially on a young site, but I would never recommend doing this to someone else.

how about my site? it's not new though 8 month old...

I would consider 8 months new still, but I suppose you have to compare to your competitors.

It's hard to tell whether it's going to affect your 8 month old site or not. Only site with huge authority have noproblem on neg seo, so keep doing the regular seo process and if you got any manual action on google, just file a reconsideration request and explain the truth.

how about disavowing those links? it that okay thing to do?

Negatitve seo only work with low quality website like a newer website will be more likely to react negatively to this kind of seo practice but if you try to do negative seo on wikipedia it won't work because there are lots website linked to wikipedia which shield its credibily if you want to protect your website from negative seo you need to either build authority links which suppress the effect of bad links or you need to attempt to remove bad links if it's possible otherwise use google disavao tool.

...well just make sure that bitch is beautiful,
life on the edge, I'm dangling my feet...

It might and it might not affect your current rankings. Just disavow the links and build more high quality links to your site. If the number of neg SEO links wasn't so massive (40K, what?), I would have advised you to build enough links to dilute the negative anchor texts used. However, that is impractical in your case.

40k now and still growing... mostly blog comments and guestbook from GSA SER...

Disavow the links and toss some authority links to the site. If shit hits the fan then
file a reconsideration request.

Your site will penaltied sooner or later, you may try to disavow, but this is how google works now.

Your site will not be penalized sooner or later. Nobody can guarantee that. I've been running a NSEO case study for 10 1/2 months now, targeting low competition and high competition sites, millions upon millions of links of spam.... till this day not 1 site has lost rank or showed any signs of tanking.

Google has gotten incredibly sophisticated at detecting NSEO. If they see you've been building 5-20 links a month for the last 4 months, then 1 day your site gets flooded with thousands of links... they will know what's up.

And lets face it, you can't really control it unless it's being done on a small scale for a small period of time. My targets would have to disavow hundreds of thousands of links week after week after week after month after month which would take A LOT of time to do. Worst case scenario if your site does start to drop, I'd do what Rabbit King said.

Good luck man.

Just wait and keep your fingers crossed. It is amazing that till now you have survived. Hope you will continue to do so.

i don't have a good feeling about this. I feel like i'd fall anytime soon. I am seeing really good results on the attack and from what learned from a Neg SEO there would be a good results at first, and then the fall will follow sooner or later... damn.... neg seo really is working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Google always find ways to remove spam on search results, i hope they could fking find a way to stop this sh*t!!...

I guess you can only submit reconsideration if you got manual spam action, what if not?
