NEEDED: Craigslist Know-It-All

About a year ago, there was a guy posting in the "Housing" section of San Diego's craigslist.

When I would go to the search function and type in 2-bed, $1500, etc..., up would pop the search results. There was one guy no one could miss. Why? Because his titles were red in color. Every other title was in blue. Just like the CL standard.

I'm looking for someone that can help me get my titles to show up in red, or bold blue. Something to help stand out. All those damn circles/stars/asteriks/etc... no longer work. Everyone and their brother has some symbol in their title now. But no one has a different color other than blue. And no one is in bold.

Anyone know how to do this?

Positive. There were at least 6 different red titles and I had never been to the site. Only seeing what # of results were for a specific category. I went back a few days later to check #'s again. Same thing. Several red titles. Never seen it since then. Had tried every way I could think of to duplicate it.

Well...let me ask you this. You say this was about a year ago right? Are you still seeing ad titles with different colors? If not, it probably isn't because that person isn't doing it anymore...it is because CL put a stop to it.

There have been a gazillion and a half changes to CL over the past year.

I tried posting an ad with HTML color code in the title and it auto removes the code.

Yeah. A year ago. And you're right. Haven't seen it since. Bold code didn't work, either.
