Need your valuation expertise

Hi Flippa Guru's,

I've never sold anything on Flippa and I'm looking to sell one of my websites that makes a small bit of cash, how much would it sell for?

Dec 2010 = $350 USD
Jan 2011 = $550 USD

Only two refunds in that period.

Would a site like that sell, and if so how much? Also this site is brand new I've done zero backlinking and its made that money.

I'm not an expert here, but I'll try to give you some advice. Seeing your current income is going up with $200 a month, it's not really steady yet. I'd advice you to wait to it's pretty stready or till you have a bad month. Simply sell it then. It's ussually 24-36x your average income per month. (if average income per month is $100, site would sell for $2400-$3600).

This is only when you target a niche that's always popular. If it's a niche that's only popular for a few months/year (for example Acai) then it won't sell for that much.

That's my 2 cents. If any expert totally disagrees with me, just quote my message and reply. I'm always trying to learn stuff

Your advice regarding steady income is correct - the more steady and consistent income is, the higher multiple the site will command (on average).

@ OP - young sites are hard to value using traditional methods of multiples. In my experience there's a certain level that sites like this will reach (usually under $5k) but it's really hit and miss.

Chances are you're looking at $1500-2000 but it depends on so many other variables (including your ability to sell) that you should only use that as a very rough guide.
