    Hi,

So I just got a nice domain in travel niche traded for an article on seoclerks. The domain is a 9 year old domain TF=15, CF=21,RD=181,DA=27,PA=37. I checked for the backlinks and anchortags its a clean domain.
I am thinking for using it for my moneysite, but have got a few questions before that:

    1. The archive has website full of content but it is not unique. Should I use existing content from the archive or go with fresh contents?
    2. What kind of articles will you suggest just travel guides, information about destinations or User experience guides (story type explaining the whole holiday schedule pointing out the positives of the spot).
    3. How many articles should I post weekly?
    4. For monetization what should I use hotel and flight affiliates?
    5. Travel industry is a very competitive industry so how should I go with seo, just links web 2.0 profiles, pbn links, etc....?
    6. Any suggestions for keyword research from BHW marketplace, I have seen there are many people most of them have good reviews.

    All your responses are appreciated.

    Thank you

    1. I would use unique content, but if you find any good info from the archive you can probably throw some of that in there too.
    2. This might depend on your monetization method. Before you decide on this though (see #5)
    3. As many quality articles as you can pump out. To my knowledge nobody has ever been penalized for having too much content. Just do as much quality stuff as you can.
    4. (See #5)
    5. I would do some heavy keyword research and try to find less competitive longtails. Doing this step before all the others will help you out GREATLY. You can get an idea of what the majority of your target keywords might be, and be in a better place to make a choice on your types of articles, and which monetization would be best for those.
    6. I have never used any keyword research people here, i'm sure they are good, but I would also suggest trying yourself first just to get an idea of how the process works. Search around on this forum and you can find some really detailed guides on it.

Using the keyword research services would ensure that you are targeting the right keywords. You do everything right from step 1 to 6 but end up targeting the wrong keyword then you are done as far as money making is concerned.

    1. I would go for unique content definitely
    2. Try to create articles like you've been there, people always look for other people's experience on a certain destination
    3. There isn't a magic number, try to post the at least 1 per 2 days?
    4. I would go for adsense just for a start and when you know your audience (the behavior on your site) I'd target hotel and/or flight affiliates
    5. Try to make useful content and I'm sure you'll get some natural backlinks
    6. Just try to insert as many keywords as you can (I mean at least 1 main keyword and 5-6 secondary) on each article. Try some variations of the same keyword too (singular, plural and synonyms)

    I hope it helps.
