Need your opinion about this domain name

The first mobile company in my country got it's .com domain expired today (backorder now), it's the exact domain of the brand name, PR5, 2.4k monthly search, 2001.
They are using the local LTD (like .fr .uk ..), i think they just forgot about the other one, it's very stupid from such company to make this mistake, all the other companies have their .com domain registered.

The problem is that i can't even catch this domain, paypal isn't available here and NameJet don't accept Neteller.

What do you guys think about this?

If you register it they will be able to get it back easily since you would be cybersquatting.

Be aware that the domain name itself could be trademark protected.

How to know if the trademark is registered world wide?
I remember when the 3rd internet/mobile company joined the market in my country a guy sold them the exact domain with the local LTD for 8k, it was Orange
