Hello guys! I'm trying to grow my personal account with local followers in my country, by using mother/slave.
Right now it's just a personal page with photos of mine, nothing niche based, but i'm atracting only local followers of my country.
I'm wondering what's the best way to do? I mean, how would you suggest me to profile my instagram accounts and and message to send in sending messages?
Right now i just use a lot of male/female profiles. Random male/female pictures, name, surname bio, all in my local language.
Then in a DM message i sent them something like this:
"Hello. Your photos look really great!
It's always nice to meet people from the same country on Instagram!
Would you be mind following each other on IG?
My instagram is: @MyHandle"
Of course i use emojis, but pretty much is same text.
The thing is that my content is not niche based, just photos of myself in nature, photo studio etc..
And my message , I think, doesn't really make sense to most people. Some of them ask me "why are you hiding under another peron's profile" or "i don't have any other instagramn"(they think i'm asking them to follow me with their other ig account hah) or they ask me "so you're not "Peter" actually?
Guys, i've heard giveaways are not the best way to promote account as some of the followers leave later on, however im hiring a professional photographer now to take my pics. How about if i do a giveaway of a photogpraher session? Maybe then it would make the sense for these people to follow me if i'd message them:
"Hello, thanks for accepting my follow request!
Would you be interested in a professional photosesion totally free?
Just follow my buddy's Instagram account: @MyPage and have a chance to win this!"
Maybe this would be better?
In the future i'll decide on what niche i want to focus. Whether it's humour of me doing funny reels, or motivational with good quality pics in beautiful places and nice words or something else.. But for now i just want to gain local followers for my account, so thinking what the best idea would be?
In fact, i was thinking of doing mother slave not in an usual way: follow + dm after follow. But rather comment send a DM after comment. So in DM i tell something like "check your inbox please" , so maybe this way i could reach out to more people? Cause my country is not hat big like USA, so not tons of fish there.
