Need Your Help Getting Refund From This Scammer

Hi guys, I'm wondering if it's possible to get a refund from this scammer, if not, at least get his arse banned from this forum for good. The crook's bhw username is monkehx. I don?t have a link to a thread as I was introduced to him by another bhw member, but monkehx did have a thread but it's not particularly from the bst or services section. He did post the service I received from the jv section in the past but the thread is invalid now. I?ve did ask Whiz beforehand if I can post and he said I can since I have payment proof and email records, so here goes.

This was a jv for domain parking, where we split earnings 50/50 (monkeh sends me traffic and I provide account). After the jv started monkeh told me to pay him $100 every month to ?ensure I [monkeh] have proper funds to manage traffic and server costs.?

Anyway, when the jv started it was going fine for the first few days but things started to get wacky, such as most of the CTR were above 100%, making over $700 in one day and TQ score dropping. Monkeh stopped sending traffic and told me he would send "ultra high traffic quality" once things started to settle down.

Well, monkeh got my account banned within the first month. Monkeh already used the initial $100 fee so I didn't ask that back, but I did ask him to refund me the $300 that was never used. Instead of sending the payment back, he told me to get another account (on a different parking site) and that he'll use the fees toward that account.

Within a few days I got another account and so he started sending traffic to it. Well, that account was only making a few bucks a day so he stopped sending traffic without even telling me and asked me to try another parking account.

At this point I was fed up and asked him to refund me the $200. It's almost been 3 weeks since then and he never responded to my emails, signs off Skype whenever I log on, and won't even pick up the phone when I call.

I know monkeh's full name, business address, and phone number. We both live in the U.S. so I?m thinking it'll be easier to catch this scammer since he?s not overseas? I'm just not sure what to do to in order to force him to do a refund since I didn't pay through paypal but with Chase Bank. If you have any advice, suggestions, or if you know anyone that?s experienced in this field that can help I?ll very much appreciate it. Thanks and rep will be given of course.

Are you 100% sure about that info?
If so,,, you could have him arrested for "fraud" or "theft by deception".
He committed a crime.
His IP's, payments, chat histories, skype, should all be enough to prove his actions.
Assemble all information, and contact an attorney, who should contact the prosecuting attorney in his county of residence.
There was nothing blackhat about what he did.
It was 100% criminal.

I realize that the chances are slim of tactics084 getting his money back,
however, he asked for assistance in getting a refund. Thus, I am giving
monkehx a 48-hour opportunity to come forward and make restitution.

Thank you so much Wiz. As of yet he hasn't responded back at all, but I'll be sure to keep you guys updated

As far as I know, yes. I will find an attorney and have monkeyh prosecuted, thanks for the info.

I agree that the chances are slim that monkehx will issue a refund since he's been ignoring me this whole time, but if not, I'll make sure he "pays" for it.

he might think he was slick but,,,
sometimes people need to be made aware of the consequences of their actions.

Once they see what course you are pursuing,,, the refund sometimes will soon follow.

We talked on skype but most of our conversation was through regular gmail email, we never chatted on gmail.......

And to update you guys, I haven't gotten any reply from monkeh yet. He's not on Skype but I see that he's online via gmail.

I also emailed him just now that I'll wait until Monday for him to issue a refund, but at this point I doubt that he will.

So basically the OP really wanted to send clicking traffic to his parked pages (against the TOS of most, if not all, parking programs to have traffic sent to them), let alone committing fraud in having traffic sent meant to actually click on ads.

But instead of a smooth operation of hundreds of "regular" fake visits sent for every fraud click, the OP alleges that monkehx was too heavy on the click fraud and got him banned.

Now the OP is crying over $200 because monkehx didn't help him do his illegal fraud properly.

OP check your email header you should get sender IP. I'm not sure is it possible for gmail. But try to find that i google.
Another thing is before you go to police you need some proof. As i see you do not dealt about refund policy. Well then who have right ?

Contacting Police because one thief stole from another thief? I'm sure they'll have a lot of consideration for the OP's plight. He'll probably hear the story how they have "real" criminals to catch and not a bit concerned with one criminal ratting out another criminal.

OP created or participated in a JV to commit click fraud. He got his account banned, found out a new account doesn't get high paying ads so JV fell apart. Now he wants to recoup some of his losses. Sad shit list thread. I say he got what he deserved but that's jmho. He knew going in that this was risky business and fraud. Now crying here.

You're missing the whole point and clearly didn't read the post properly.
First off, I don't know what kind of traffic monkeh sent as they will never reveal their secrets (because we can do it ourselves if we do). I am not complaining over my account getting banned or losing the initial $100 traffic fee because I was prepared for that, but what upsets me the most is people who can't even keep their word: "I'll never let any person's money go to waste" "I won't keep any of it. This is soley for your account."

I'm not going to fret about it if I can't get the $200 back because I can survive without it, but I'm simply not going to give up on letting monkeh keep the money without a fight. He's been breaking promises and not delivering the service I paid for and would rather give that to an attorney than leaving it in the hands of a scumbag.
And if you think this is the cheesiest shitlist you've ever read, then your reply is the worthless post I've read in this thread.
