Need your help about Youtube home page traffic.

Hi there! Sorry for my english boyzz
So i really need answers on some of my questions.
So i own a really small youtube channel with only 9 vids and 100+ subs.
And this week i started to get more views that i was getting before ( i didn't even upload any vids ,
my last vid was about 2 weeks ago. ). Also i realize that most of the views going to my one video which was uploaded more than a month ago and has like 400 views(i think) 10 days ago, and now about 3.5k.
So i though that someone who have more audience uploaded the video with simillar tags , name etc. and i was in suggesteds for this vid and that's from where my views was coming from. But i checked the traffic sources on my channel statistics and saw that all this traffic comes from Youtube home page.
So i want some answers how this works and try to use it to my advantage.
How and why this video was placed in home page of youtube? ( some tips mby )
And how to not lose this traffic? I think it will back to my normal traffic soon, so...

Oh i got that, so someone watched videos with simillar names and tags that my video have and now they got my vid on their home page. That's makes sense, thx that's can be useful!

Thx, that's cool and sad at the same time because i don't know how to do that again ;( but i have some thought's about that now and i will atleast try to reproduce it in a future for sure

You got the idea.You notice Youtube is taking longer to discover new videos.
