Need your expert help

Now, I am running a website, my target keywords is quite difficult, and after a 2 month working, the result is good, some keywords have been ranked on 1st page. But it was hit by last google update. Just one week before the update, I found there was a lot of side wide links from a penalized website, totally took over 50% of all my links, so I removed them all. When the update, my ranking started to sink from 1st page to 6th page now. Is it the links removal caused the panalize? Now, I have been keeping on put more quality niche links to replace the removed one for one and half month. But there is no effect till now. Is there anybody can tell me whether I am doing wrong? I want to hear your advice.

Disvow the bad links from your website and get more quality high PR backlinks. You can order link removal services from the marketplace.
