Hello everyone.

I just start a blog on health care with the purpose to monetize later on. I am newbie in this area so would like to have some of your advice...
  • How many posts should I make to start to see the traffic? And for how long? Is it at least 6 months?
  • What is the optimal length of the post? Is it more than 1,000 words for cornerstone posts and about 600 words for other posts?
  • I am using Yoast SEO. Do you recommend any other free SEO tools?
  • What should be the traffic to expect about $750 a day using AdSense? Is it about 10k - 12k views a month?
  • For now I just think of affiliate marketing and AdSense to monetize the site. Do you have any recommendations?
Thanks so much and have a very good day.

750$ with 12k views a month!? You must be jooking, you need 20k unique visitors a day or even more depending on your cpm

You will need a lot of content...daily fresh content would be great. Healthcare is a cut throat niche so you better be prepared for it. Lots of content and backlinks. You can use AD networks or affiliate product links to monetize but before putting all these ads, get a decent daily viewers and then start monetizing. Make sure to collect email addresses from the start. Will take 3-6 months before you see any major bumps in SERP's. All the best!

It helps if you link to scientific articles like pubmed and science direct

It is hard to get approved for AdSense with a health blog.

It might be helpful to position the site more along a "health news" line than "health advice" format, due to Google's gatekeeping attitude. You also might consider doing a joint venture with an actual local doctor or clinic (who agrees with your product promotions), and feature that authority on the site so you have built in credibility for the medical info expressed in your content.
