Hi i have problem with my old wordpress site, i cant upload my old SQL file to my new wordpress site, im getting following error

CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `wp_commentmeta` (
`meta_id` bigint(20) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
`comment_id` bigint(20) unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '0',
`meta_key` varchar(255) DEFAULT NULL,
`meta_value` longtext,
PRIMARY KEY (`meta_id`),
KEY `comment_id` (`comment_id`),
KEY `meta_key` (`meta_key`)
) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 AUTO_INCREMENT=219 ;



Can anyone solve this problem?

Create database with same db name also username as old db.
90% cases it should work.

Thats not an error, thats a SQL Query. What is the error?

Exactly. OP missed actual error message.
I got the similar error yesterday while migrating a site. thats why i have assumed the error is same looking at OPs statement.

Hi i have tried that now

Stil getting this

did the new wordpress site had database already created? if yes, try drop the wp_commentmeta db row

Don't know what it's the sql error. But if you don't care your old table, drop it like this:

DROP TABLE wp_commentmeta;

hi

if its not null that means u already have the database name exist.
pls try create a new database name and then import the sql.
also, make sure u import it in the subset table to avoid clashing ur master file in phpmyadmin.

which hosting u using? u can ask the hosting company to do it for u, just upload it to ftp file server
