Need Wordpress help

Hey guys, I snagged a copy of the WP Business Press theme from here

And when i create a new page it places the "Leave a reply" for comments at the bottom of the page and i want to get rid of this. Anyone know how to do that or what code/where to edit to stop it from doing that?

try searching for a wp plugin that removes comments, ...or you can manually search (automatic with UltraEdit) for the "Leave a reply" and remove the php... i recommend you to get a plugin that removes the comments

Thanks!!! Took some time to find the right wording to search for what i needed but in the end i found a great plugin that worked like a charm ( one click close comments )

Have another problem Im trying to figure out. Im using <ul> and <li> code to list items on a page. For some reason it is wrapping the text instead of letting it go across the page like normal paragraphs.

Im assuming there is code somewhere that is defining a width for this but im not sure. Ive pasted the style.css below if that might help

First, the comments line is in your template's files. You need to go to "Appearance->Editor"

Find the pages that you want the comments off of, and the code will be in there somewhere. They're called something different for every theme, but it should be pretty apparent (usually something like single_post.php, and that is your blog post page, category.php, that's your categories, etc.) There will be something in there about comments, remove it.

Cleaning out the comments.php should remove the form, but if you want to remove the "comments are off" and stuff like that, it's in the template files itself.

To tell you about the list styling, you need to paste the page's source as well. There are 4-5 different list styles in that CSS...

Go to the discussion part of your page or post near the bottom of the edit page. Uncheck allow comments. Unless it has some stupid code in it that makes it print "comments are off" or something, you're done. No need for plugins/editing/whatever.

Many templates do have this coded in.

(BTW, the discussion section is not visible by default. You need to open Screen Options on the post/page edit and enable it there. But if it still mentions comments after this, it's in the template's page file.)
