Hey, so I just made my first wordpress blog and begun to create my home page introduction.

I got a LOT of text on my site, and it looks like shit, because there is no "breaks" for the user
all my sentences is shown like this:
    Topic1
    blablabla
    topic2
    blablabla
    topic3
    blabla

Instead I want some more space for the users mind to "get a break".
I want it to look like I was typing on this forum or in notepad/word etc.

    So it would look like:

    Topic1

    blablabla

    topic2

    bla

    blabla

    topic3

    blablabla

    blablabla

If you guys get me, a bit hard to explain :).
If I just use enter to add the spaces like I do on this forum, it automatically removes the space when I save/publish the site.

That happens to me, and most of the time my issue is the layout I am using; something in the code not allowing for line breaks. Have you tried changing your layout to see if that is the issue? Aside from that I don't know what to say aside from just scoping the forum out for some WP tips.

What do you mean by changing layout? I wish to keep my current theme. Anyone know how to fix this? It shouldn't be too hard :).

Use MS Word to write the text & save it as HTML. And open the HTML file using any text editor and use that text in your layout. So it maintains the line breaks etc in the same format as the Word's.

Thanks secax, it worked, but only for 1 linebreak it seems, any idea how to add more linebreaks?

    Hi Supermanden,

each one <br/> is for one line break
you have to inserted it on HTML view, and save it without switch back to Visual view

let me know how it is going
