Hey guys,

I need website made like 123movies.to - it can be custom CMS/WP, doesnt really matter. The website doesnt have to include the movies, I will add them myself. I want automatic imdb info addition, except description which I will write myself. Also the option to embed movie links and imdb tooltip when you hover over the movies. Basically, just as the website is.

the owner of 123movies is on here maybe try to hit him up. Though I doubt he will like the idea of someone trying to clone him.

He didn't t mean to Clone.He is trying to give some idea what he looking for.We all do that.
 
ok cool. Then a place to check is codecanyon. They have plenty of movie site scripts.
 
Yeah im friends with the owner of the site but he doesn't want to sell the script, which is understandable. I talked to him and he's okay with me getting someone to create website with similar functionalities. I checked codecanyon and themeforest but none of the scrips/themes comes close to this.
 
Document te functionalities and get a developer off upwork or freelancer.com. there are some good devs out here though. I suggest you use wp
 
I have tried freelancer already but all the proposals I get are from people with "portfolio" made up of wordpress demo imported themes even with higher budget... will try upwork. :/

Knowle...We can code this kind of script in Wordpress ...where you an manage the entire website ur self and possible feeds will come like IMDB...rest you can manage from your end ...

Hi, i made something similar check this demo: dmovies.to
- Auto movies
- Auto episodes
- Auto info : movies, tv shows and episodes (tmdb api + trakt api)
everything its auto except adding the tv shows, but i can make a plugin for that to add tv shows auto to.

i think it will be hard to add a feature to embed movie links directly from imdb.

i already have something like that , runing a simple cron file will start auto adding movies to db with all the infos about that movies (images included) also video embeds +trailer, everything is auto in my script and if you want to add manually then there is a option to use imdb id to add that movie with all the infos and video embeds

sounds good. including images? Are not they copyrighted? We cannot embed unless we have rights to do so
