New to VPS's and don't know anything about operating systems

I want to get a cheap VPS but don't have any experience with any os's other than windows xp. Found some cheap boxes on lowendboxes that are based in the USA that are priced from $5 to $7, but most are cent os. ANybody know if these tools work on cent os boxes?

GSA
Firefox
Imacros

If so, do I have to do some "tech" stuff to get them to work? Just looking to load those tools and go to work using remote desktop, and don't know if they will. I also seen some VPS's with windows server 2003 available, from what I read it's similar to XP...will those tools work on a windows 2003 server?

Any guidance will be appreciated.

looking up tightvnc and xfce now to see what they are

what should be min hardware requirement of vps for hosting a 10,000 traffic per day website?
Please tell.

i can get you a VPS for $60 a month with windows server 2012 and 2 cores and you can just run those tools and access it from anywhere just put the access file on a pen.

and it is similar to win xp.. no need to configure anything and you can install any app just like win xp

pm if interested, i can let u access before buying

I have seen attractive VPS deals from aspnix and kvchosting.
You may try them to meet your VPS needs.
Their servers are stable and prices are competitive.
Check out their plans and choose the best one for your needs.
