Need VA For Cold Calling - UK Numbers

Hi,

I'm looking for a VA to carry out some cold calls in the UK. You must have very fluent english and you must have had at least some experience in this field.
PM me your best rate. I'm looking for an hour or two a day with a view to scaling up to many hours and much higher pay.

A VA does administrative tasks. What you are looking for is a salesman. What sort of commission are you offering?

It's not actually a sales pitch; it's more of an informative call to pre-qualify leads. The calls take no more than around 30 seconds on average. I know it's not exactly a standard VA job, but there's no getting past gatekeepers or trying to make a sale/book a meeting. I hate cold calling more than anything in the world (nerves) but even this task doesn't bother me.

I'm looking for someone to work by the hour, and maybe just one or two hours a day. I'd then be looking at moving it to a commission based project which could easily end up being $XX-XXX/day.

whats the different between girls and boys by delivery of the spills by getting clients? only strong and good delivery peaching skills are needed there i guess!!!
 
I've been doing this for our company .Here is my advice
Hire a VA from Odesk and give him a hourly wage +commision

I think guys can crack sales well than ladies(my experience) There are good people in phil,Pakistan(recently found really good hard working people) and there are some from Indian as well.Advantage of philipine people is they have facility to call unlimited to UK USA connections over the phone not skype for 4$ per month.Its wayy better than skype.

Personally I wouldn't hire anyone from India, due to their accents being so thick. No, I'm not being racist, but how many have you got a call from an indian and immediately rolled your eyes and hung up? :P

By the way, I'm from Australia, but I can do this no worries.

I agree with you for some extent.But there are people with neutral accent also.Coz most of the Indian people who works for call centers now learn accent.

There were some instances people just drop the receiver once they hear asian accent from other end specially in Canada.But US is ok.


But comparatively Phil people good in accent and Pakistanis also do well.

We used to close high end deals with native guys.But for shops outsourcing staff do well.Its depends on the business.
 
you need a telemarketer. I worked at a call centre here in India for a company that dealt with mortgage customers in US.
